I had no idea that the man he was accused of organising a hit on has himself denounced that theory. I can only assume that is a piece of information that was also kept from the jury. Also, the way they brought very damning charges, then dropped them after they'd poisoned the jury against him with them, was appalling. They basically denied him the right to defend himself. The way the judge referred to the dropped charges was also appalling. If something is dropped , it is supposed to be stricken from the record and never discussed again.

You clearly didn't understand a thing I wrote, that much is painfully obvious . He was sentenced to life, even though nobody was murdered, they didn't even exist. An attempted murder is not the same as murder, a conspiracy to commit murder is not the same as murder, this is stuff most people understand by the 5th or 6th grade. Just like those people on to catch a predator, they get sentenced for a conspiracy to commit/attempted solicitation of a minor, which is not the same as someone actually violating a minor, is there anything confusing about that? LIKE I SAID...... He deserved to serve some time but he did not deserve life. Man, you people are just insufferable.

The idea that a sentence should make an example is a miscarriage of justice in America. Each sentence should be towards the unique circumstances of the individual and the crime. It shows that modern federal prosecutors, judges and law enforcement are not acting under the principles of this country or constitution. With the idea of showing an example, many miscarriages of justice and atrocities have been committed by federal agents.

But every time a state or country tries to decriminalize drugs, the place turns to absolute shit, and they have to reverse their decision. Perhaps there is a better third option which we haven't explored yet? Certainly I believe that the way the war on drugs has been prosecuted has been largely innefective, and often self-sabotaging, because the agencies in charge want to keep the money flowing and keep increasing their power.
