Great video, guys. Yes, Pete. You should definitely get the box set. I got it last year for my birthday, which is October 19th. In the case of Demons & Wizards and The Magician's Birthday, it does make sense to put them on one cd(both were released in 1972 and both feature Roger Dean covers). It doesn't make sense to bundle High & Mighty with Firefly. In regards to the booklet, I noticed that Lee's name is missing from a section of the lineup breakdown.

Always entertaining and interesting when Steven Reid talks about music. And in this case my big favorites Uriah Heep! The only thing I do not agree with him is the album Conquest which I have actually always liked, everything from the music to the album cover that I love. But I'm apparently quite alone about that? 😲 "haha" anyway so thanks for showing all the boxes. I want everything! Maybe especially the picture discs and t-shirts ... 🙃

    • @TranquilityFireReid

I don't really dislike Conquest Roland, it's just not as good as the rest of the catalogue to my ears. It is viewed as the clunker in the catalogue by many though, but as Pete says, rank 'em how you like 'em! And he's right.

Steven-- that's a great hype sticker!! I've gotta have "Choices," the hype sticker is HUGE!! My granddaughter Bo (her nickname, she looks like a young Bo Derek) started saving hers because Steven and I collect them, too. She is a Heep fanatic, because of SoT and hanging around her granddad (me). Those tee-shirts are out-of-sight! Groovy heap of Heep, includes everything but the members themselves. What a treasure to own, will have to 'look into this.' GREAT show, we were glued to the screen throughout. Thanks Pete and Steven! It's always super fun and educational when you guys do these shows.

I got the first box to get the whole back catalog in one go (only had a few on vinyl already). My only complaint is that I would have rather they had each album on one cd with full replica artwork and then not bothered with the choices cds - especially seeing as they released the cheaper one later in the year. Even so the whole catalog + the vinyl was too good to pass up….

Pete neatly summed me up at around the 40 min mark. Yonks ago I had a few Heep albums on vinyl and I've seen them live a couple of times. I like them but I'm not a huge fan. The Fifty Years In Rock set was the one for me. All the studio albums for a bargain price. Having lived with it since Christmas I have reservations about the packaging but not the music. Looking at the B.O.C. Colombia Albums box I reckon this could have been packaged better but still come in at a budget price.
I don't think it's going to offer much to the really dedicated fan. If the band need any tips about how they should be catered for, they could do worse than look at Ian Hunter's truly magnificent Stranded In Reality.
Hope I don't sound like too much of a moan. All of Uriah Heep's studio albums for just over £100, can't complain too much at that.

It was in a tiny little building which was used as a music studio back in the day. Owned by the Redgrave family believe it or not before then! They were heavily involved in the communist party movement and it was used to hold meetings and events there. When it was a music studio, both Sting and Mark Knopfler used it.
Anyway, this gig consisted of a bald headed pot bellied Fish, an old guy on piano and an old guy on acoustic guitar, and the sound man at the back was wearing a tutu! I though WTF id this!
