      The closest thing we have to rc tank shooting is an rc tank that shoots bbs

      @@thewolfgaming4165only due to resale scale limits though, should a team of few 3d printing enthusiasts assemble, heck, even just three people or two, with at least some engineering knowlge and rather big amount of funds, they can make half-knee height tank

    This is so cool. If you decided to post the files I would be interested in conducting near hypersonic tests with them. I have an electro thermal gun which achieves around 3000 fps. I think it would be really cool

    • @Flasutie

      That's a good idea. But this shell doesn't have a "rifling" thing, so the faster it gets, the more unstable it gets.
      It's sad news...
      (file will upload any soon. There are a few things to fix to reveal.)

    • @PlasmaFreak
      @PlasmaFreak Год назад +8

      @@Flasutie This is true, but for close range testing it should work. I plan on printing it at a much smaller scale and perhaps adding a real steel core to try and get more stability.

    No that's APDS. APCR keeps the tip on. It's a full bore sub caliber penetrator

    • @Flasutie
      @Flasutie  Год назад +4

      That's a good point. If the shell could have collapsed, it would have shown different results, but this is not the case, so it is correct that there is only a difference in "Discarding" during flight.

      @osmacar5331 Год назад +6

      @@Flasutie holy shit you're civil. That's pleasant.
      Back on topic. That is kinda true. Given the mechanism you have made. It's essentially APCRDS for the sake of pedantics. However. Interesting bullet, shell, whatever you pick it's a 20mm.

    • @lykonic1763
      @lykonic1763 4 месяца назад

      Late to the party but:
      The design actually reminds me a lot of APNCR; it's just not being fired from a tapered barrel to actually get the desired effect of firing a smaller, faster round out of a larger barrel. Which, in a way, makes it about the same functionality as APDS like you pointed out - the main functional difference is just whether the core leaves the barrel on it's own or not, really. Either way, it's very cool to watch and ponder over.

  • @ricardogallardo5157
    @ricardogallardo5157 8 месяцев назад

    I love this but I would like the files to 3d print the barrel it was fired from also the one for your apfsds rounds as well if you can upload those files
