I have to say that I love this. It is very difficult to find a crystal clear version of the original Carousel of Progress narration from the 1964-1965 World's Fair recordings. Especially the special ending. Really appreciate this. True piece of Disney history!

This is the soundtrack I remember upon seeing this show in 1969. I would love to see the actual show from then as well.

THANK YOU WNL95 for this collection! It is impressive how the CoP changed so little when it reached DL. I was shocked to hear the Skydome Spectacular track. I haven't heard it since I was at the Fair. I didn't know that it was narrated by Vic Perrin- who was later recruited to do the same for EPCOT CENTER'S Universe of Energy!

Oops! The Skydome Spectacular's narrator was Lawrence Dobkin, who also served as the Captain of DL's original Submarine Voyage, as well as the narrator of WDW's original Hall of Presidents. Okay, the history lesson is done!

I think he's just referring to the previous year in which he said "The best time of their lives" The Sherman Brothers didn't write The Best Time Of Your Life until the 70s when the ride moved to The Magic Kingdom in DisneyWorld. This was from the Worlds Fair version back in 1964/65

I have a question about the "fusion" sequence heard at 19:36 (after act four). This scene seems too long to have been part of the main show in the rotating theater. Would it have come after guests went down the moving ramp (the music starting at 29:23)?

Hi! That's the music to the Mirror Maze section which was part of the General Electric Progressland pavilion at the 1964 New York World's Fair.
