Welcome to the General Electric Carousel of Progress. Now most carousels just go round and round without getting anywhere. But on this one, at every turn, we'll be making progress. And progress is not just moving ahead. It's dreaming and working and building a better way of life. Progress is the sound of a motor, (Motor Starts) the hum of a turbine, (Turbine Starts) the heartbeat of a factory, (Hammers Pounding) the sound of a symphony, (Music Loudens) the roar of a rocket (Rocket Blasts), progress is people getting release from drudgery, gaining more time to enjoy themselves and live richer lives. And as long as man dreams and works and builds, this progress will go on...in your life, and mine.
There’s a great big beautiful tomorrow Shining at the end of everyday There’s a great big beautiful tomorrow and tomorrow is just a dream away Man has a dream and that’s the start He follows his dream with mind and heart And when it becomes a reality it’s a dream come true for you and me So there’s a great big beautiful tomorrow shining at the end of everyday There’s a great big beautiful tomorrow just a dream away
OperationFatGuy Well - yes - as a matter of fact. One of my favorite family memories of Disneyland (from mid-50's through the 80's) is having our meal at the Golden Horseshoe Review Cafe in Frontierland! Betty Taylor, Fulton Burley and of course, Wally Boag! I do remember seeing an album for the music performed there in one of the gift shops, but never could afford to buy it as a kid. Any chance you might have some or all of the songs performed there? "Hello Everybody, we're glad to have you with us - here at the Golden Horseshoe..." Thanks!!
For those looking for it, the Dixieland version of There's A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow from Episode Two of The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse - 4:04
I've been looking for these versions for ages! Most videos just have the show audio, and I love to just listen to the music. Thank you!!
you're welcome
I forgot to add the unreleased demo versions but I made another video ruclips.net/video/RhWh1RdZ9VM/видео.html
