** Lyrics **
Controlling their lives
Deciding when and how they will die
A victim of someone else's choice
The ones who suffer have no voice
Manipulating destiny
When it comes to living, no one seems to care
But when it comes to wanting out
Those with power, will be there
Prolong the pain
How long will it last?
Suicide machine
A request to die with dignity
Is that too much to ask?
Suicide machine
How easy it is to deny the pain
Of someone else's suffering
[Solos: Schuldiner, Masvidal]
Robbed of natural abilities
In death they now seek tranquility
In a confused state of mind
Extending agony, they must be blind
Manipulating destiny
When it comes to living, no one seems to care
But when it comes to wanting out
Those with power, will be there
Prolong the pain
How long will it last?
Suicide machine
A request to die with dignity
Is that too much to ask?
Suicide machine

To be able to play those insane leads while singing is beyond me, chuck was and will always be a god
I was there. Still can't believe that he's gone.
How I envy you for that experience. I was 10 at the time...
This video Chuck is using his Marshall Valvestate 8100, B.C. Rich Stealth And DiMarzio X2N bridge pickup and possibly a little reverb.
"When it comes to wanting out, Those with power will be there"
Unreal vocals on this. Chuck was definetly in his prime in 98'
I think prime Chuck voice was during the Symbolic era
I think all of their stuff is amazing but Sound of Perseverance is definitely my favorite
wtf dude, i had seen this concert like 10 times and then i today decided to open the video and all that was taking my attention was his amp and then i get down to the comments and the first comment is you talking about his amp
@@ascendancy4900 imo it would be in Human era. The vocals are just lovely
Human had spectacular vocals as well, the low growly vocals from the previous records mixed with a hint of his later vocal style is an amazing blend.
I still love these lyrics, its such an accurate point, even today. Hope Chuck didnt suffer too bad himself... RIP Chuck.
Happy Birthday Chuck..your legacy will leave forever.thank you so much for inspire ourselves
Привет из России. Спасибо Господин Чак!
This song has a new meaning Switzerland suicide machine
Yeah this song is still about something very different
Grande Death! Único!
brutal and beautiful song
I never knew Ethel could play the drums that well!
G O A T
It's all over internet really. Marshall amps (mostly older valvestates), some chorus, delay or reverb and B. C. Rich guitars with DiMarzio X2N pickup
Will be THERE!!!!!!!!!!! Chuck Schuldiner forever in my heart!!!
Holy fucking shit chuck was a beast
I could swear the bass player was david ellefson
Christy is a animal
Suicide Vending Machine
Sounds like something cannabis corpse would do.
Amazing!!! Rip The Godfather
That hair flip tho @3:17
Oooooyeeaaaa
I don't think there is a tighter band, maybe only equals. King Diamond comes to mind, but their stuff has less than 40 complex changes per song.
death shouldnt even be in the same sentence as king diamond lol
Death metal masterpiece
They needed a shot of the drum fill at 2:04
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
hey man whats up? thank for the good work ! do u know chuks gear? amp effects? im not sure but i dont think he had any effects just marhall distortion
BC Rich Stelath loaded with a single DiMarzio X2N and a Marshall Valvestate 8100
Esse baterista e humano !?
no
Foi difícil pra ele acompanhar a perfeição de Chuck kkkkk
Can anyone tell me the chuck amp settings(bass, mid end treble)?
Does anyone know the theme within the lyrics? I would like to find out.
But what is a suicide machine? xD
suicide machine.....the folk who are forced to take their own lives, because they become "the victim of some-one else's choice"...the mind that plots taking its own life away cause things dont ever go their way;
When it comes to living, no one seems to care
But when it comes to wanting out
Those with power, will be there...
Fucking masterpiece...
+Multidimensional Mind suicide machine is our collective economic, social and political system we have created for ourselves
+Jerome Joseph V.M You are wrong. It´s about being forced to keep living when you want to die, suicide machine is an invention by dr. Kevorkian who was an advocate of euthanasia. It allows one to end their life by pressing a button, this song is about someone who is terminally ill and wants to die with dignity but "those with the power" prevent him from doing so.
@@penttikoivuniemi2146 not only terminal illness, also people being exploited. You are forced into a societal system that is built on exploitation and suffering. And if you don't conform to this system or simply want out, it is impossible...
Вот это щупальцы.
the other Guitarist is Shannon Hamm not Paul Masvidal
in the description it mentions the member who contribute to the album :)
Hamm
Como pode os cara tocando tudo errado o som, Principalmente o batera e o chuck kkkkkkkkkk
