Just installed these on my same car TODAY they feel amazing so soft and yet still not much roll entering turns
Exactly how I would describe them out of box feel as well. Glad you like them bro. Amazing value for the money.
Where do you have the dampers set to? Mine are set front to back at eight clicks and the car feels great.
So good🔥
thanks brotha 🙏🏻
Rieger rear diffuser for sure, always looks top notch
the stock matte color or paint it gloss?
I did the faux fiber. It’s nice… but the pattern doesn’t match my other aero parts :/ still looks 8/10.
The perfect fitment for me is ET58 with 265's in the rear and ET45 up front.
You can definitely do that but it cant be as low. I rub even on the smaller tire setup and camber all the way around.
I have 12mm dinan spacers on my 09 135, with 9.5 58+ Anthracite Apex ARC-8’s & 8.5 45+ fronts. But I have fac M Suspenion. Which I love the feel of, plus I don’t want it to low where I have to worry about everywhere I go. First car I’ve had I didn’t lower? But it’s set up more for 40 or 60 rolls & 1/2-full mile shoot outs. Your car looks good…✌🏻🏁
Thanks dude. The fac m suspension was good honestly. Little extra body roll than i wanted.
@@TOOEURO.how would you compare the factory M suspension to these coils? I have an incoming 09 M pckg at 55K miles. I suspect I’ll need to replace the shocks/struts.
I just installed the same setup coilovers, wheels, and spacers, thanks to your videos. Did you have to roll your fenders also, or did you just mess with the camber? I got major rubbing in the rear, but i haven't gotten the alignment done yet, though...
Thats awesome to hear man. If you follow the alignment settings i got, it allows you to go one finger gap all the way around with no rubbing on dips or corners except only in one spot. The passenger rear rubs because of how low it is so if i raise the back ill be fine. However its also due to the fuel tank being on that side so when fuel tank is full it rubs on dips and corners. the way that i will combat this which i havent done yet is to go and get the rear passenger rolled and possibly shaved.
I need one
it’s a great car to experience for sure
Great fitment! I’m due for some tires… thinking PSS as well, thoughts? Coming from Bridgestone G-Force Comp 2 A/S (and I love them…but I want summer stickies).
As for diffuser, after much deliberation I went with the Rieger brand. It comes in solid grey or faux fiber. Wish I could post a pic… it’s perfect fit and adds an understated aggressive look.
PS4S all day. really grippy tires. My final verdict on the diffuser is going to leave stock. The more I look at it the more I like it the way it is. Going to take that money though and buy the matching maxton side skirts lol
thxs for info! Are you sitting on a minimum or maximum ride height for those coil overs?
There is still enough to go between 2-2.5in lower.
is the front able to go up just a lil?@@TOOEURO.
how much more camber adjustment do you have left on the plates?
It’s only at two. it goes o like 5 or 6.
Is this fully maxed out? Im debating on getting ST for my mk7 gti, but I want to be fairly low.
Not maxed out at all. plenty room to go lower.
@@TOOEURO. looks like I’m getting ST 💪🏼
@@TOOEURO. I’m actually picking up another 135i that has the same suspension installed… I live in Toronto, Canada and the roads are horrid, are you able to raise the car up any further from his current position?
St suspension does have a recommended adjustable height range. It's not recommended to slam the car.
Did you install yourself?
I have installed coilovers in the past on my GTI back in the day and it was such a pain that I had a shop do this set.
35 offset rear looks better IMO.
I already rub with 46 and -2deg camber lol
It's impossible with a 9.5 wheel without some serious quarter pulling and rolling.
