27:50 For those interested: there was actually a time when humans began to forge iron with far greater frequency than before and largely left the forging of bronze by the wayside. It was known as the Bronze Age Collapse. During this time period (which we still haven't really figured out) almost the entirety of the civilizational complex of the Greeks, Egyptians, and the Middle East collapsed and was replaced by brand new civilizations. Fun Fact: One characteristic of this was the arrival of the "Sea Peoples." Sea = Mare in Latin, which is where we get the word "Marine," so maybe the end of the age of Bronze (Hellions) brings about the age of the Sea Peoples (Marines)?
@@Seageass01 No, this was long before the Romans, around 1000 BC-800 BC. The fall of Western Rome wasn't actually that bad, the main problem was deurbanization, but most of the world did fine. The Bronze Age Collapse was absolutely catastrophic for most of civilization up until that point.
Hey lowko! I just wanna say I’ve been watching you for a few years now and your videos have gotten me through a lot and you’re an amazing youtuber! I hope you have a great day ☺️
FYI in Starcraft: Remastered you can actually turn on the "APM counter" which you can see in game what your APM is.....I don't even use hotkeys but I was able to reach over 200 APM just by clicking around with my mouse...pretty cool...they should have added the APM counter for SC2.
@@alterego3734 i'm extremely late to the party but sometimes it's just caused by it being a grammar rule in Dutch or some other languages. i'm serious, some Dutch plurals start with apostrophes (hobby's for example). sometimes, it's just caused by no mind being present. books are basically free, knowledge is virtually impossible to miss but people rarely are literate.
I don't usually notice it, but when I do, those vision boxes are really nice, because it shows what the player is paying attention to. Are they microing? Macroing? Did they even check the scout they sent? It certainly doesn't get in the way.
1 more thing about camera hotkeys, my favorite part is accuracy being able to snap the camera to a more centered position or be consistently at the same exact position considering that being too fast can make my own aim and selecting less accurate is very convienent and helpful and control group camera controls are great for hit squads more than buildings bc it allows you to have a smart camera that follows your army without having to set a camera hotkey for every position u r sending ur army to basically set controls are super convienent and useful
That analogy was superb, you expected not se bronce, instead a little iron since it's more expencive but what you see a bigger pile of bronce earlier than iron. Nice play:)
Fun fact: Methuselah, the oldest known planet, is 12.7 billion years old. For reference, the universe itself is 13.7 billion years old. It is also one of the only known planets to orbit two stars at the same time, and is made of many expensive materials such as diamonds, since it is made of mostly carbon.
Okay Lowko if you want a co-caster here is my dream. You and Harstem cast a game you haven't seen. -Your Intro -You introduce players. -Harstem tells us what it's like to play against them. -You call zerg moves. -Harstem calls protoss moves. -You call fights. -Harstem call scouting and upgrades. -Harstem gives one analogy at least every 3 minutes. -You make a zerg biased comment every 3 minutes. -Lastly, you never speak directly to one another.
I can always trust lowko to put me to sleep. His voice/commentary is like a lullaby to my ears. Been using this life hack since he was around 50-60k subs. ♥️
33:50 what a mad game, Byun constantly micros marines, helions, banshees to poke Rogue and defend all counters... and still manages to max our at around 13mins =)))
I prefer being able to see the players screen vision. You explaining the cameras is a great help. I recently started learning to use them. Well at least set them up. Lol
I actually like the player cameras Great cast, Lowko! I wondered why there were player cams in some games, but not in the games casted after the games that had the cameras, lol. Also, feel free to bring out your inner co-caster from time to time, lol
So I've just noticed a little icon between the mineral counts on th bottom of the UI, the amount of the little icon seems to change. What does that represent?
How resource intensive (+build time and supply) are medivacs? Any idea to have 1-2 over your most exposed mineral lines vs a zerg running lots of banes?
How to deal with mass banelings and rinse and repeat : very easy it's called Flamming Betties and Auto Turrets as static defense for the Terran and Banshees with their AoE attack (would also deal with lurkers with Ravens and mass Vikings to protect them from Curruptors with those Ravens having their Nova coop ability of healing disks
For future references, it's to pull a rabbit out of a hat Lowko, although I truly enjoy the squeeze the juice out of a lemon as well. Not sure about squeezing a rabbit though
About the bronze/iron/steel around 28:00 ... Lowko... You don't need an historian to realize we are still using bronze. It's still great, for statue for instance. Check out "statue of unity", started in 2010-2013. So, yeah... bronze isn't used to make swords, obviously, nor swords are exactly still being used in wars... i get you. No need to send your tin to Ukraine, they don't need it. But still... in case you didn't realize, real world isn't exactly like civilization games :p So yeah, the analogy was terrible, helions aren't like bronze. But don't worry, we get you, we are gamers too :p
in that 3rd game, I really felt that byun should have done more counter attacks/ harrasing the top left and bottom right zerg bases. mass banes and ultras is a very expensive army, so shutting down those bases would make a lot of sense.
iron ore was much more common that the ones used for bronze, that's why the switch happened mechanically they are not that different, the only other major difference is that bronze was also easier to made
Lowko during 3rd game: "Why is Byun taking so long to transition to ghosts?! Maru already would have 12 of them." Lowko after Byun loses 3rd game: "Hmm, making ghosts was a mistake."
When you watch byun's game/micro you can see where his focus is at, almost his emotion too. Unlike other pros, those are like advanced AIs that lack the humanity part in byun's game.
I think players use banshees the wrong way, the whole point is not to be spotted so why dont you use the Cloake to get to the enemy base unspotted, even if you are revealed earlier they wont have enough time to respond, Late game reaper grenade disrupt isnt used too much either and that CC is huge
I dont agree with how you explained camera hotkeys, theyre not just 5-10% improvement, theyre more like 20-25% , theyre huge and learning them alone made me jump from gold to top plat in a single day, youre making it seem like its an optimization thing that only problem use, while its essential for any player The problem is that in starcraft you use your mouse to do alot of things (most importantly micro), so eliminating camera control from that long list is pretty huge

me too, if he upload 10 vid a day, ill watch them all
26:00 queen actually couldn't transfuse the overlord because they were positioned defensively off creep within the main
Lowko was on fire today: Rabbit sacrifices, history channel , giving overlord's names, talking to his iner co-caster...
I wonder: what happens in someone's mind when they add an apostrophe before an s for plural?
FYI in Starcraft: Remastered you can actually turn on the "APM counter" which you can see in game what your APM is.....I don't even use hotkeys but I was able to reach over 200 APM just by clicking around with my mouse...pretty cool...they should have added the APM counter for SC2.

32:46 That one zergling chasing the Thor and biting him on the ass is the real MVP of the game.
I like the player vision on the mini map. Always cool to see what they're looking at! Keep up the great content!
I haven’t even finished this video yet but I love to see these aggressive playstyles! Makes it much more interesting to watch, love your casts!
I really loled more than I should have at the "I enjoy solo casting" - "me too!" xD
I love seeing where they are looking. It allows you to know better their thoughtprocrss
idk why, but Lowko's metaphors falling apart crack me up so much
49:51
This is why I am here. Technical commentary sprinkled with slight adorable madness.
Whatever they put in his coffee this morning, Lowko's casting was on point.
I am falling in love with starcraft all over again watching your casts, you're also hilarious, i really dig your vibe brother!
I haven't played this game since HotS but I still thoroughly enjoy watching you cast these games (and a lot of banelings)
Map thing is pretty good, but there is still a question: Is the rabbit dead?
I don't usually notice it, but when I do, those vision boxes are really nice, because it shows what the player is paying attention to. Are they microing? Macroing? Did they even check the scout they sent?
It certainly doesn't get in the way.
Camera groups are the only way to build speed and access to proxy structures and bases.

I love player view on the mini! Always wanted this info real time for both players during the matches. Definitely better 👍🏽
25:50 The Queens were off creep, so the weren't able to transfuse.
25:49 queens can no longer transfuse off creep, remember?
That analogy was superb, you expected not se bronce, instead a little iron since it's more expencive but what you see a bigger pile of bronce earlier than iron. Nice play:)
Lowko talking with Lowko is the best part!!

He was also in godzilla vs king ghidorah, and they said he's also the oldest titan
Lowko trying out Harstem's analogies
That banelings game was approved by Bane Boost.
Okay Lowko if you want a co-caster here is my dream.
You and Harstem cast a game you haven't seen.
-Your Intro
-You introduce players.
Same. I absolutely love his casting but I literally listen to his videos to put my 2 year old asleep. It works every time.
33:50 what a mad game, Byun constantly micros marines, helions, banshees to poke Rogue and defend all counters... and still manages to max our at around 13mins =)))
lmao I never noticed the players' camera pov until you mentioned it. Learning new things with lowko!
Byuns actual name is Byun. His name is Byun Hyun-woo
"Whatever you do, dont squeeze".
Made my day 😂
I prefer being able to see the players screen vision. You explaining the cameras is a great help. I recently started learning to use them. Well at least set them up. Lol
Don't squeeze rabbit. Better squish that cat!
i like seeing the cameras i rarely look over but its always a nice option
17:09 Lowko is the most eloquent speaker that has ever graced the English language.
I actually like the player cameras
Great cast, Lowko!
I wondered why there were player cams in some games, but not in the games casted after the games that had the cameras, lol.
Also, feel free to bring out your inner co-caster from time to time, lol
Lowko: "2000 atmos will be our final game for today"... 2 - 1 Rogue at this point, I wonder if ByuN can win 2 maps on this map...
HarstemCasts + LowkoTV collab when?? Will be the new Tasteosis since artosis is moving out of south korea.
This episode started to look like that HOTS mission where you must collect 200 or so banelings =) nice!
Banelings, my mainlings
favorite of choices, Lowko is starting to give in to the voices.
21:38 - The SCV got some after care after being “punished” by the drone. 😉😉😉😉😉😉😉😉😉😉
I hope future casts feature Lowko 2
LMAO on the "co-comentator" joke: "Me too!"
I think its awesome to be able to se where the players are watching
love seeing the minimap speed
Player vision on the minimap is great.
Lowko: "is he taking the double gas"
Me who has never played starcraft: "sure he does duuuh"
For future references, it's to pull a rabbit out of a hat Lowko, although I truly enjoy the squeeze the juice out of a lemon as well. Not sure about squeezing a rabbit though
Pull a lemon out of a hat for dinner with a squeeze of rabbit juice.
Blood from a stone?
"Don't squeeze the rabbit." -Lowko, 2022
25:55 He can't transfuse the overlord because queens can no longer transfuse off creep. I think you know this.
Like the outlines in the minimap :D
I had no idea you can out micro against roaches with reapers!
Didnt even notice the player cameras before now since you mentioned it last
how many bains you build ? Rogue : Yes
Wow, another great series from great players. This game is such a delight, makes my lunches much more interesting.
25:54 lowko forgot queens cant transffuse off creep anymore
The 1st game was just awesome!
Are you gonna be streaming old school runescape?
ByuN's play in game 1 was peak ByuN. If the nameplates were off, I would have guessed who the Terran was in a heartbeat.
The commentating went big on this one lowko. Enjoyed every minute of it. :D
About the bronze/iron/steel around 28:00 ...

But don't worry, we get you, we are gamers too :p
Mr. Lowoko can you explain how rogue went 3-1 in a Bo1?
The fake baneling drop got me 😂😂
Hey lowko you spoiled the ending when you said 2000 atmos was the final map of the day when it was the 4th of a best of 5
I hope you’re ready for the rabbit to become a recurring thing
in that 3rd game, I really felt that byun should have done more counter attacks/ harrasing the top left and bottom right zerg bases. mass banes and ultras is a very expensive army, so shutting down those bases would make a lot of sense.
iron ore was much more common that the ones used for bronze, that's why the switch happened
mechanically they are not that different, the only other major difference is that bronze was also easier to made
The commentary on this one 🔥🔥🔥
Lowko during 3rd game: "Why is Byun taking so long to transition to ghosts?! Maru already would have 12 of them."
Lowko after Byun loses 3rd game: "Hmm, making ghosts was a mistake."
lmao squeez the the juice out of the rabbit and hit it with the hat? .... lowko.....
Seeing the camera movement of the players is interesting. Kind of give you a small perspective from their view point, if that makes any sense.
27:53 what's that weird ball of light?
uhh. its a ufo.
Game 1: This is a very stange way to play
Me, who only ravager rushes: ..
When you watch byun's game/micro you can see where his focus is at, almost his emotion too. Unlike other pros, those are like advanced AIs that lack the humanity part in byun's game.
Aggressive games are quite the show.
Love all the content
In the 3rd game Brenda couldn’t transfuse the overlord. She wasn’t on creep!!
I think players use banshees the wrong way, the whole point is not to be spotted so why dont you use the Cloake to get to the enemy base unspotted, even if you are revealed earlier they wont have enough time to respond, Late game reaper grenade disrupt isnt used too much either and that CC is huge
We want to see Old School Runescape highlights! Dragon Slayer stream?
Someday I'd love to get one of my platinum games roasted by Lowko. Best SC2 caster
You had camera control hotkey since sc1.
And since its a blizzard game i can tell you that you could do camera keybinds since warcraft 2.
Ctrl+ nr
Free siege tank, a peace offering.
LOWKO. XD
You can make location control groups?!?!
I dont agree with how you explained camera hotkeys, theyre not just 5-10% improvement, theyre more like 20-25% , theyre huge and learning them alone made me jump from gold to top plat in a single day, youre making it seem like its an optimization thing that only problem use, while its essential for any player
The problem is that in starcraft you use your mouse to do alot of things (most importantly micro), so eliminating camera control from that long list is pretty huge
You laso dont need to drag your cursor off minimap if you jumped there with camera ctrl group
LowKo pretending to not having lost his mind already. I mean his name is literally LowKo
according to wiki... Byun Hyun-woo
40:57 did Lowko just spoil the game?
The queen was also off creep in game 3 to save the overlord.
Hey Simon what did you think about that engagement?
You know what Lowko, I liked it a lot.
What happen with the rabbit?
Just started a diet and hearing the word “cheese” is making me hungry
I like your co-caster :)
11:00 5% faster, when players peak 1000APM, is really big. It's 50 apm.
I think you were trying to say squeeze blood from a stone.
I have to say, the editing to blend the rewinds, are too smooth. I noticed it when ByuN does his map hopping and Lowko did not do his usual "hole-up".
Here we go again.
Me, Cinnamon tea and Lowko cast.
