i don't think you lose anything if you believe in God but if you don't you may lose your salvation so why to risk so much if you know we sometimes are wrong cause nobody's perfect, I think there is something that tell us someone up there is watching us and that's God so please believe
All I know is when I became a Christian I experienced things in my life that I know I could have NEVER taken credit for or done on my own. Its unexplainable to the common person. But to someone who has had a God encounter knows exactly what I mean. I would give my life to defend it. God IS REAL. I know this. I wasn't raised in church I wasn't brainwashed to believe anything. It was a choice. The most significant choice of my life. So whatever label you want to put on it. So what? I still know
This song is really Christian Hedonistic. Brothers, let's be satisfied in God... 'cause God is most satisfied in God. As John Piper puts it "God is most glorified in us when we we are most satisfied in Him". Even in sorrow, there is happiness in God.
I just love how Crowder can take basic chords and turn them into such melodic riffs. His guitar style is so unique and can speak to your soul on its own (i.e. see the first 18 seconds of this video).
I agree. that's the problem; we use to look at the instruments more often than the player. By the other hand, we shouldn't think of these guys as a "cool" band, but as a ministry with a special focus on the non- believer youth. Each one of us, in Jesus' body, is a priest and a minister of His Love to the nations, and to our brothers and sisters all over the world. anyway, hope the people DCB never lose their focus (Jesus, and He alone). cove I like your angle.. I think aboutt when Jesus walked the earth ..a living, walking , breathing, perfect man as God's son and it still wasn't enough for some. There were still unbelievers!! Can u believe it? Proof right in front of their eyes and still couldn't accept. Which still occurs today just as our Bible informs.

I bet you're right Miksta- Good call. I didn't really think of that. The sound guy has a whole lot to do with it. And sometimes the venue and stage configuration is out of his control. No matter what though, this is truly a great band. It took me awhile to warm up to them for some reason, but their music has grown on me and I will purchase their cd soon.

Charismatic its not easy being a Christian and its easy to criticize something you haven't even experienced for yourself. Its easy to accept Jesus Christ as real and a Savior though. That is definitely your choice. You have free will like us all. But you must know that when you come on RUclips to a christian song and deny Christ His followers are going to defend His Honor with love and compassion. We are pretty much aware that persecution comes along with the mission sometimes. God told us that would happen.
I do believe that this is worship. However, we are also to do our very best with our talents and I'm sorry, but our best is not rewriting a song over and over with the same musical parts. One needs to keep growing in their talents just as they do their faith. We were all made unique and while I believe that one must also be able to worship under any condition, one also has preferences to what moves them more. That's mostly the bad recording I think. The ride symbol is cutting through too much and the snare and (especially) the kick aren't. IMO, the quality of the recording is what's putting you off. I've seen them live a few times, and I think he's one of the more disciplined drummers I've heard. He contributes to the sound well without being flashy in a way that (I believe) is essential for worship music of this genre.

I don't agree. I see that you are a fan of Chris Tomlin. You must like dulled down music and lyrics that all sound the same song after song. At least Crowder has diversity. God of This City should never have been sold to Tomlin to use. Bluetree did a great job writing that song and Tomlin ruined it.
