  • International Mobility increases the quality of teaching and research through the exchange of knowledge, international networking and common research projects. This handbook, developed by UNIC experts on Teaching and Learning, provides a "field guide" - showcasing the diversity of practice in intercultural teaching, and providing information, practical hints, and examples.
In this short introductory video, Dr. Astrid Tan from Ruhr University Bochum explains how the Handbook came together and who it's designed for: "The Handbook is for all university teachers who would like to get inspired in designing international teaching. It provides practical hints and checklists how to enrich already existing courses, beginning from small elements to larger units of the course. Virtual Exchange is a key focus in the Handbook, and you can learn about this concept and about practical realisations within UNIC."
The Handbook was made possible through the contributions of:
    Samiha Chemli (University of Deusto)
Armida de la Garza, Catherine O'Mahony (University College Cork)
Bram van Essen, Jeroen Jansz (Erasmus University Rotterdam)
    Daliborka Pašić (University of Zagreb)
Peter Salden, Martina Schmohr, Astrid Tan (Ruhr University Bochum)
    Anca Teodosiu (University of Oulu)
    Dominique Verpoorten (University of Liège)
    Zuhal Zeybekoğlu (Koç University)
