Heinnie Haynes uploaded a video FIVE YEARS AGO demonstrating how to securely grab this knife. While it certainly amazes me that it didn't occur to you to stick your ring finger through the outward (largest) hole -which I think is pretty intuitive-, failing to contrast the information before giving your own opinion on the product feels like cheap bashing and doesn't help you solve your own dilemma, while resulting in a time waste for the viewers.

Do you own this knife? I did. If I wasted your time, purchase this knife and upload a video proving how intuitive it is. Be honest (as I was) about whether or not you like the knife. It wasn’t a dilemma; for my use and hands, it was not a good design. The finish made it slippery. It is an unwieldy knife. You’re entitled to your opinion, but only after you’ve purchased and handled the knife. Thanks -- edit: You can't reasonably stick your ring finger through that hole and use the knife. The ONE AND ONLY REVIEW on Heinnie Haynes says the following, and I quote: "Cracking little back up knife with a high quality finish. Comes shaving sharp out of the box and the kydex sheath snaps securely into place. The handle is QUITE SMALL and SLIPPERY and CAN BE DIFFICULT TO GET A GOOD SECURE GRIP for heavier work so I've wrapped it with paracord and it's 100% better! For the money it's a bargain just buy it"
