What a mind bendingly beautiful spot great images and video not sure it was worth sacrificing your 90D for. I hope you get it all sorted out soon and get back out there✌️
@@AndyHPhotography look on the bright side...the Black Friday sales are upon us. I'll be interested to see if you get another 90D, or a different model
This looks like a real life fairy village, absolutely stunning! I found the Canon 90D online a few days ago and have chosen it as my next camera, an upgrade from the Canon Rebel T6i. I came onto RUclips tonight to check out photographers' reviews of the camera and found yours, which led me too quickly to this, the demise of your beloved 90D. I'm grieving for you but can't wait to dive into all your videos, thank you!
Massive thanks for your kind words and support Julie. The 90D is an awesome camera and I’m sure you’ll love it. I should have my new camera up and running very soon 🤞
Sorry again about the camera, but it's great that you have insurance. You got some really nice images though. The fall colors really popped, especially in contrast to the greens.
As one Andy H to another I sympathise. I dropped my first brand-new X-T4 in a saltwater river without a lens on it during a fumbled lens-swap. Still suffering from PTSD on that one.
It's horrible when it happens isn't it. I hope you got it covered on Insurance (mine is currently with them and hopefully they'll come through). I'm sure the first time out again I'm going near any water
It was on the tripod and it fell over into the water 🤦 that’ll try me to get a better tripod. k&f are good budget ones but they’re not as good as the more expensive ones
@JorisVanDeuneghem it was really steady so I’m not sure what happened. It’s with the insurance company at the moment so hopefully I will hear next week
I had a water instance myself with my Canon 5D MKII, while shooting an ocean scene standing on some rocks which i have done for 30+ yrs i was facing the shore when a rogue wave hit me from behind and went over my head, my camera was tripod mounted and i was able to hold onto it BUT the camera never worked properly again, salt water and cameras dont mix, i did not have insurance so it was a costly mistake, never turn your back tonthe ocean lol again i had photographed this scene for 30+ yrs and it was a freak occurance, i have sinve gravitated to the Fuji mirrorless line and havent looked back ,, good luck with the insurance company, we all know how expensive camera gear is !! Beautiful/stunning location btw !! Awesome work !!
It really sucks when it happens for sure. I'm hoping the insurance company come through but if they don't provide a new one as the course of action, I'm torn between the 90D and R7. Silver lining is that this is a great opportunity to do lots of gadget research
I should have tried that (I haven’t heard of that method before) but the insurance company have it now so hopefully I will hear something early next week 🤞

Many thanks 🙏 it is a stunning spot and hopefully I’ll get the camera sorted very soon
I like all the pictures with no sky in! but even the ones with sky in are very pleasant pictures to look at! That's a lovely location....Thank you....
Many thanks Des 🙏😊 I’ll be back once I get a new camera (hopefully very soon)
Wow you took some stunning pictures ❤, I cannot believe that happened at the end…… I’d be crying .
Many thanks. It is a great location and I managed to hold back the tears 😢 Gave me a good excuse to relook at the camera market though
Great pics Andy! Hope the camera is ok
Thanks Gavin. Sadly the camera and lens are no more. I’m hoping the insurance company come through otherwise it could be an expensive accident 🤞
@@AndyHPhotography oh no!
At least my wife is accepting the need for a new camera 🤣🤣

@gavinevans5306 It’ll be interesting to see what the insurance company want to do. I’d be more than happy if they provide another 90d

Great shots Andy. Sorry about you 90D.
Massive thanks Tom. I have a new camera now so can get out and about again

Thanks Craig. I’m so glad the memory card was saved as I was really pleased with the images

Oh wow 😟
Bummer hate it when the camera goes for a swim. Looks like a very good place for pics
I coudn't believe it when it went in, it seemed to happen in slow motion. It is a great place and well worth a visit if you're in North Wales
Ow dam Andy, that sucks supper hard. Why did you drop your camera in the water? Love the photos

@@AndyHPhotography that sucks. I always check the sturdiness before I leave my tripod, but this can always happen. is your camera beyond repair?

Камеру в чистом спирте прополоскать и посушить и будет работать. Привет Дженни:) Фото как из сказки!
