Honestly, both of them getting an update so to speak is pretty sweet.
I'm really looking forward to the kuva sobek because of my current sayrn synergy build, but I just know a dev is waiting in the wings with a nerf bat. If that info is correct, the sobek is primed to become the most broken shotgun in the game even without a riven.
The game currently has a lot of busted shit, sobek saryn is definitely up there but I don’t know if it it will be nerfed.
I'm afraid to spent my formas and resources building this saryn-sobek setup for the same reason...they removed inherit nova build so I'm expecting acid shells saryn to be nerfed as well, sadly

The Glaxion's energy thing is on top of 18 punchthrough, which for a beam weapon is going to be nutty.
Yeah, I'm surprised he just skipped over that part when the only reason the ignis wraith is so popular is because of the punch through

unfortunately it got changed to +90% crit damage, no more punchthrough memes

The sobek augment seems to be counting go how many enemies you hit/kill, then giving the buff on the reload

Im thinking magnetic on glax, use one mod for rad, then build to kill corpus, might work might not but ive already got so many armored killers (hm viral) as is i want to try something different
Corrosive + cold should be viable after status rework. Having those 2 plus rad and magnetic should make it pretty all round and a good contender for gun co. I personally will be going for primary frostbite as my arcane of choice on this one lol

@@MrCptCapslock1 i guess im not really an expert but i think toxin is one of the best status dmg that can be put on sobek mine doesnt have status dmg i only have dmg bonus crit dmg and status duration on mine and for me thats a good riven

Could be reaching here but if the name of the Sobek augment is correct "Controlled Barrage" maybe it cannot be equipped at the same time as Shotgun Barrage? Kind of like the Vitality mods. 350% status and multi is crazy and having it fire slower would reign that in a bit, and fit with the "controlled" idea.

2:20 I saw a +15% crit damage written in Chinese here for the glaxion mod did they miss something out ? Btw both the sobek and the glaxion have different chinese names in warframe china from our build but so does most of the stuff. The sobek is translated to crocodile tooth in warframe china instead of crocodile god for some reason.
There’s still two days until it releases globally so they’re probably still ironing out the details

I feel like that sobek augment is actually going to be 3.5% per hit. 350% status chance sounds too good to be true
It wouldn't be out of the question to be 35% per enemy hit. Nightwave weapon mods do frequently bring massive numbers.

if that really is the stats of tenet glaxion, I am quite disappointed; glaxion has always been the weakest of the primary element beam weapons (Amprex, Ignis, Glaxion, and I suppose Torid incarnon), alongside being the weakest element of the quartet; so I was hoping for a more significant stat buff with tenet, while it's still a good improvement over vandal, I was hoping to have considerably more crit chance to really drive home the whole cold status crit damage buffs and synergy with primary frostbite
and even if the stats weren't a huge game changer, I was hoping the augment would be, but this just seems like a very underwhelming extra source of energy that it didn't need and I expect to see very little use of
getting to 20% cc and 2.2 cd is nice, but I was hoping for something more like 25-30% cc to give glaxion that boost it needs to compete with it's peers
Chains betweens targets, up to 60% bonus elemental damage, which can be used to make base viral with forced cold procs + perfectly fits with arcane that gives you more multishot abd crit damage per cold stack, potentially rechargable mag. I'd say it'd be a great weapon, in theory at least
Cold status already had a CC bonus. Just stack it
