Why what was he done to earn that right? He has been tries with Matthews on more than one occasion. No great results. The kid is simply to small he is no Marty St. Louis.
@johnsummerhill8323 Robertson isn't worth shit in a trade, even less since it went public. He hasn't done anything except get injured. Sign a deal and earn your trade.

I heard Brian (Buffalo Head" Burk recently state he thinks the Leafs should keep Marner and instead trade Nylander! I could NOT disagree more and I'm left wondering how Burk, who is usually of sound mind could entertain such a wicked thought!!? If you can keep them both, and still find ways to bolster the defence then of course, who wouldn't want Marner!? But that just isn't an option with a few contracts being in the final contract year and need to be resigned. So, if we're left with having to deal one of these fantastic players, Burk wants to trade the teams only consistent playoff performer and keep one of the worst? It seems very likely Marner is still being shopped, but the team has no interest in revealing that due to ridonculous Leaf media shit show!
