Fraser Minton is no surprise. He was hurt (high ankle sprain) since the rookie tournament. Easton Cowan stays up to get 1 more pre-season game then it's most likely back to junior. I hope the leafs keep either Marshal Rifai or Philippe Myers on the blue line - tey've both looked much better than Liljegren - and they don't make $3 Million off the Cap either.
Cowan will be sent back ... He's not ready to play in top 9 yet....Dewar is going on LTIR and I can see a world where Kampf is offloaded when Dewar comes back
The players listed as out are not cut. They are currently not on the active roster because they are on the Injured Reserve. The Leafs will need to cut at least 6 from that roster plus the 3 that are out once they come off IR. Safe to say Minten and Clifford are not making team but they are officially not yet cut.

Sounds weird now that I'm typing this but what if Marner tries 2C with Nylander on wing and then Matthews with Tavares on wing
