Ok, so I have a problem with this version of The Prayer. I fell in love with this song, when I heard Celine Dionne and Andrea Bocelli perform it. I thought no one could ever top them. Then I heard Donnie McClurkin and Yolanda Adams perform it! I thought Never anyone better than this! NOW, Resound does it! I hate you people. Now, I feel like you're makin' me cheat on Donnie and Yolanda! Your talent, tone, harmony, arrangement, power, clarity etc. etc. is absolutely OUTSTANDING! AS IN WOW! And I shouldn't even be enjoying this music! I'm just an old white boy from South Buffalo! L.O.L. I'm supposed to be listening to Jefferson Starship! Pink Floyd! etc. Great job. Thank YOU for sharing the Blessing of our Lord with us! Prayers for your success and witness for our Jesus! AMEN.
So Patrick, my experience with this rendition was the same as yours. First Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion then Donnie McClurkin and Yolanda Adams, that was it for me too. But just goes to show that God can still show up in new and exciting ways even with the same song. These young people have taught me that and I’m grateful.

I so needed to hear this song right now!!! It was in my "recommended" today. I immediately subscribed. With our Country in turmoil with Trump and his cultists, Covid, and so much hatred in plain sight these days, this song was definitely needed. On top of all that, I am also remembering my life from 27 years ago. During this week in 1994, I lost my father on Jan. 10th and my mother on Jan. 13th. We buried them both together on the 15th of January. It was one of the most difficult times in my life and sometimes it feels like it was just yesterday, even though it's been 27 years. I still miss them so, and wish I could talk with them again just one more time. So, no matter your age, please let those you love, know that they are loved, even if you can't be together in person. I love this song and their rendition was beautiful. God, please help this Nation heal and get us back to a Nation of Love, Peace and Unity. Thank you Resound!!!!
