Both Floor and Simone Simmons are long time friends and they both started in bands at a very young age. They are both phenomenal singers and there is an long history of Floor and some of the other members of Epica. Edit.... I'm glad suggested it and I'm happy you enjoyed it. :)
Hey Molly, here some answers to your questions: Floor is very tall (6.1 f or 1.86 m) Simone is normally size (5,57 f or 1.70 m) - During this concert, Simone was 3 month pregnant, which render her performance impressive (she kept going 3 h) and explain why she is not headbanging as hard or willmilling as Floor is doing during the song. Epica do not travel with an orchestra or choir, that is far too expensive, and would be both a technical challenge and nightmare to manage on tour. But, the orchestra and choir are present their concerts via soundtracks. There are slmost always 3 lead singers in Epica's songs: Simone, front woman, lyricist and lead vocals, Mark, founder of the band, composer/lyricist, guitarist and Growl/Screams AND then a choir. Do not hesitate to jump into the Epica rabbit hole and continue your journey into the Nightwish rabbit hole - you won't get disappointed ;o)
Ayreon , The Day The World Breaks Down, is another great project to introduce you more not only prog Metal and Syphonic artist and Metal artist. Simone and Floor are in the Ayreon project. Not explaining this to well just check it out! Rock On Stay Safe!🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Floor and Simone were roommates as long as long time friends. I believe at this time Simone was expecting her child. Floor has a child as well . You can tell with their vibe they have deep ties and love each other.
Epica travels with backing tracks, its financial suicide to drag full orchestra and choir with. Check out song from latest album, Omega - Sovereign of the Sun Spheres
If you want to see Floor Jansen, take a look at nightwish Wacken open Air 2013, any of the song's of this concert, but you can begin with " ghost love score". also do Wembley 2015,.....and you will be.....
Look at the this liveshow called Retrospect of Epica where this performance is taken from. It's a 3 hours show with a full orchestra and choir live on stage and of course soprano Simone Simons angelic voice
Sam, then you should definitely listen to some more Epica :) Whether you like heavy stuff or wonderful ballads, Epica have it all. Amazing musical compositions and the lead soprano Simone Simons is a goddess ;)
Epica is a great band....one of the top bands in the genre in my opinion. I think you will like most if not all of what they have to offer, recommend Chasing the Dragon, Sensorium, and/or Cry for the Moon as next listens from them if you like Sancta Terra. Floor is 6' tall and I think Simone is only a little bit under that, I don't think they regularly tour with an orchestra but they are similar to Nightwish and Within Temptation in that they have tracks recorded and occasionally for large shows have a live orchestra. The common theme to most bands of the genre is having angelic female vocals to offset the male growling lyrics. Epica has Simone Simons, Nightwish (and formerly After Forever and ReVamp) has Floor Jansen and had Anette Olzon and Tarja Tarunen, Within Temptation has Sharon Den Adel, and Lacuna Coil has Christina Scabbia just to name a few.
Epica's leadsinger , soprano Simone Simons kept up these high soaring vocals the whole show, and the show lasted for 3 hours! But, she does that in every show seemingly effortless..
Nice reaction, Molly. May I recommend the first song Epica did with Floor at that concert (Retrospect, the 10 years anniversary of the band) and made all the metalheads in the venue fall silent: "Stabat Mater Dolorosa". The lyrics were written in the 13th century as a christian poem or hymn and was sung without any music until the 18th century (1736) when the Italian composer Giovanni Battista Pergolesi wrote some music for it. When the two ladies started to sing this beautiful song the audience was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Another good one from this show is "Design your Universe" where you can hear the growls of Mark Jansen the founder, composer, lyricist, male vocalist of Epica. Other great songs of Epica are "Cry for the moon", "Storm the Sorrow" or "Consign to Oblivion" ( live at the Zenith). There are many connections in the Symphonic/ Power Metal scene. Its like a big family with Floor at its center: Simone and Floor are best friends since teenage days; for a time Floor was Simones vocal coach, both are regular guests on the Progressive Metal project "Ayreon" of Dutch multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer Arjien Anthony Lucassen; Floor Jansen is married to Hannes van Dahl (Drummer of Swedish Power Metal band "Sabaton", she did some background vocals on some of their tracks); Simone Simons is married to Oliver Palotai (Keyboardist of American Power Metal band "Kamelot"); the singer of "Kamelot" is Tommy Karevik from Sweden, who is a regular on the "Ayreon" project too; Floor Jansen and Epicas male vocalist Mark Jansen (not related) were members of the Dutch Symphonic Metal Band "After Forever" where Floor gave her debut as background singer at the age of 16 after she heard Anneke van Giersbergen ("The Gathering", "Vuur", the first of Dutch symphonic metal vocalists); in 2002 Mark left After Forever to found Epica (Simone was his girlfriend at that time); in 2012 "Nightwish" "borrowed" the two singers Alissa White-Gluz and Elize Ryd who both were guest singers of "Kamelot" to replace singer Anette Olzon for one show in Denver because she got sick and could not perform ("The Denver Debacle"); because there were already tensions between Olzon (now in the Symphonic Metal Band "The Dark Element") and the other "Nightwish" members, they decided to part ways and shortly after this,Tuomas Holopainen called Floor and asked her to take over from Anette for the rest of the tour ("Please learn the setlist in 48 hours"). Finally, in 2013 after the show at Wacken Open Air, Floor was officially announced as full member of "Nightwish". There is quite some history to this whole scene. Oh man, I hope I got all this right. To all you other commenters: please correct me if I was wrong at some points.
Hey Molly.Samta Terra is the 2. Song with Floor on the Epicas Retrospect Show The 1.Song is Sabat Mata Dolorosa also a liddel Opera and Simone is Floors Best MAIDE
Floor and Simone Simons are friends for a long time and Floor was in After Forever together with Mark Jansen, (no relatives) the one who did shout out Floor’s name at the end of the song. About the headbangers: FYI, Simone was about 3 months pregnant at the moment of this concert. Epica did celebrate their 10th anniversary with a unique live concert. A 70-piece symphonic orchestra and choir will accompany the band at the Klokgebouw in Eindhoven (NLD). Especially for this show the band has invited the Hungarian Extended Remenyi Ede Chamber Orchestra and Choir of Miskolc National Theatre. Also, because of the great demand by international fans, Epica announced a live stream, called the Retrostream, on March 4, 2013. Who will enter Sancta Terra? This song is about a suicide commander who believes he will go to heaven after his dead, but he ends up in hell. But will he? Maybe you are in to react to Ayreon - ‘Valley of the Queens’ and/or ‘The Day That The World Breaks Down’.
Hello, thank you for the video. I advise you to make, if you haven't done it yet, a reaction to the wonderful young singer Diana Ankudinova. This girl will surprise you with her artistry and rare timbre of voice. She has covers of famous songs, and also performs her own songs.
Simone Simons is the vocalist. Epica and Nightwish and two of what is usually considered the "Big Four" of symphonic metal, the others being Within Temptation and Delain. All have female singers.
Simone & Floor are long time friends , the founder of Epica Mark Jansen (no relation) was the founder of Floor's 1st band "After Forever" Song Suggestion , "Bless the Child" ruclips.net/video/hMaJtY0xG00/видео.html
I've heard comments from two vocal coaches on headbanging singers. It actually relaxes the larynx, which can possibly tighten a bit during long concerts. Now that she's 40 I thought she might slow down, but I saw a clip of a recent 2021 show and there she was going strong with her signature windmill. Love it. As far as breath, at 6'+ tall Floor has the lungs of a deep sea diver. 😀🤘
From the same show with both singers: Stabst Mater Dolorosa. The metal head crowd is completely silent as Floor and Simone sing a centuries-old hymn. And Floor and the conductor recognizing each other at the end is pure class.
Although we all wish these bands travelled on tour with a full live orchestra and choir, the reality is that would be prohibitively expensive and probably a logistics nightmare what with passports and visa clearances for that many musicians. The better quality bands, like Nightwish and Epica, record with live orchestras in the studio and then use the studio album orchestra tracks as background during live concerts. Nightwish, for example, uses the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the Metro Voices of London choir. Epica has performed a few special event concerts, like this one, with the live orchestra. Also fellow metal band Within Temptation is well known for staging the spectacularly beautiful "Black Symphony" show with live orchestra and choir. German metal band Rage has, on a few occasions, performed with a small string section they call The Lingua Mortis Orchestra (excellent such concert at Wacken 2007). To date, Nightwish has not ever done a show with live orchestra on stage. That would be a dream come true for us Nightwish Army fans! Tuomas has hinted that that might happen on this upcoming tour. We can keep hoping.
These two are old friends. Both Dutch so yes tall lol. They were flat mates back in the day. You need to see them sing Stabat Mater Dolorosa- truly gorgeous!
This girls and others from metal are singing and headbanging since they had 13 years old and training and growling and singing in all styles, so I think it don't tired them, is just natural...
Like you, I am new to this music style. I love Consign To Oblivion live at the Zenith. You will love it. Simone's voice really contrasts the thrashing guitars.
This angel is one of the best singers (incredible extremely low vocal) in the world! Reactionaries, who have already made more than 7 thousand reactions (check my playlist) call her the queen of goosebumps! I invite you to discover this wonderful talented young singer. Please make reaction to Diana Ankudinova - (rarest contralto with polyphonic overtones) I was stunned to find that the first performance (Show "You are Super") I heard was when she was 14!!!! She's now 18 and still developing. She sings in Russian, French, English, Spain and Arabic. The covers she performed on that show are very popular on RUclips. Many RUclipsrs publish reactions on these performances, which include "Wicked Game", "Human", "Derniere Danse", "It's a Man's Man's Man's World", "Take On Me" and others. Please react to one of Diana's songs and I promise she will surprise you.
It'll be interesting to know your opinion on the best female contralto in the world 🌎 Diana Ankudinova is so talented and popular on RUclips. Sure you'll enjoy reacting to our treasure 💖 ✨ 💕 pleaaaaase 🙏
Great comment! First both woman are Dutch. The Netherlands has the tallest median height in the world:-) Floor is well over 6 ft tall. You were one of the very first reactors that I ever watched on RUclips when you were covering the Expanse. I remember being sad when you struggled with the fair use trolls out there. At the time I looked at your reactions as a marketing service for the show. I think that you really did help other people find The Expanse and that in turn helped drive the actual show streaming numbers! So thank you! I have felt the same way about music reactions. In the time of pandemic reactors have helped people find new, or at least new to them, music. An Expand Facebook fan site introduced me to Nightwish. And I have been supporting reactors to their music ever since. So thank you again! Now I am beginning to worry that the growth of reactors is hurting streaming revenue for the actual musicians and their supporting crews. To combat this I seek out ways to buy their music and merchandise. I would like to ask you to publish links to those sites for the artists you review. Once again thank you for the great reaction, I hope you continue down the symphonic metal rabbit hole as well as Floor’s covers and solos. Stay safe!
If you are enjoying the symphonic metal genre, I would recommend that you try listening to Within Temptation. They have been around just as long as Nightwish, and they have had an amazing evolution of their sound over their career. In the early days they were very heavy. Most people listen to "Angels" as an entry point to their songs. I would also recommend: "The Truth Beneath the Rose", "Our Solemn Hour", "All I Need", "The Promise", "Covered by Roses", and a cover of "Titanium" by David Guetta. They have so much more, and I hope this helps you get started. :)
Epica had a live show back in 2008 with orchestra and choir live on stage. ' the classical conspiracy'. The same orchestra was on stage as in this one.
This was a jubileum concert with a full orchestra. Not their normal thing. Floor and Simone are both Dutch who can be tall. Epica is a world class band. Nightwish is a galaxy class band ;)
No, Epica is just as great as Nightwish. Heavier and "more metal". They are quite different in some respects. I dare to say Epica ballads are even better than NW ballads. NW doesn't have anything like "Safeguard to Paradise" or "Twin Flames" or "Trois Vierges", that's just heavenly music.
Epica founder/guitarist Mark Jansen (no related to Floor) was Floor bandmate in After Forever. Same year (2002) After Forever disband, Mark forming his current band, Epica.
This show was special for their 10th anniversary, hence the orchestra, and a 3 hour concert. Also Simone was pregnant in that show, and that was near the end, it's really impressive how she performed at such high level. Both Nightwish and Epica are amazing bands, top notch of the genre. As a reference Epica overall sounds heavier and includes death metal growls in some songs, done by one of the guitarists and leader of the band, Mark Jansen. As you already have lots of suggestions from NW I'll recommend from Epica, Abyss of Time from the latest album, it's a music video and I think it represents their style quite well.
Both Floor and Simone are Dutch, and the Dutch are on average the tallest people on earth. The wind milling technique (sometimes mistaken for headbanging) can be used to actually relax the vocal track. As Floor once said she only gets dizzy by it if she hits her head on something while doing it. As for the band and orchestra: this was a special occasion, the bands 10th anniversary if I'm not mistaken. Usually they use a backing track. Other suggestions from Epica: anything from this concert (live retrospect) and The Essence of Silence (live from Brussels) where you can check out the male vocalist of the band.
Hello from the Netherlands . two fantastic and beautiful DUTCH symphonic metal queens together . Floor Jansen is 1.84 meter tall. Simone Simons and Floor Jansen are very good friends. Nightwish Storytime Wacken 2013 is a good one for more Floors Dutch windmill ( that hair is spinning ) and singing intensely at the same time . and for Dutch windmill and growl and high notes sing Nightwish Yours is an Empty hope live at Wembley arina 2015 . Sincerely Hollandduck from the Netherlands
Hi, it’s MtlKillerX18 from the stream. I’ve been a fan of both of these bands for a while. If you want something truly amazing to check out, look up the song, of matter by Tesseract
Only one band travel with classical musician. The germanic band called Haggard. Like Epica, with eventual orchestra, there is Therion, the father of symphonic metal.
😎Hi Molly, Floor and Simone are awesome together. EPICA is a great band. During the recording of This Simone was 3 months pregnant. As far as height of them. I want to say Floor is 6'4" or better. Simone is under 6. A lot of it was camera angle. 😎👍 okay that's one more that you have covered. This is only the second reaction video I have seen you do. I don't know if you have covered Nightwish Song of Myself from 2013 Wacken Concert yet. I just found you Molly, just trying to catch up. Looking forward to seeing some more reaction videos. If I see some you missed or watch the wrong concert, I will let you know. Maybe more😎👍❤🇺🇸
Floor and Simone and every one in Epica are Dutch(People from The the Netherlands or sometimed called Holland). The Netherlands had the tallest average height of population of any country on the planet.
As you ask about height, (As they are both from the Netherlands (Dutch)). Average height of Dutch men is 183,8 cm (6′ 0.4″) Average height of Dutch women is 170,4 cm (5′ 7.1”) The Dutch are, on average, ranked as the tallest people in the world.
Thanks for this reaction 🙂👍 I suggest that you react to Epica "Design your Universe", "The Phantom Agony" and "Unleashed" same Live Retrospect concert. Have a good day and take care 🙂🤘
Yeah floor jansen is just the best female( and most versatile) singer in the whole dang world......i assume you already did ghostlove score..this one is epic and as already mentioned her performances with ayreon are great too( the day the world breaks down is as epic...merlins will eye of ra and valley of the queens) furthermore all of her beste zangers 2019 are amazing.....floor has the ability to make every song better! Another gem is phantom of the opera with henk poort at beste zangers...last year she did alot of covers and they were all amazing...recently her duet with uncle henk poort dangerous games( from jeckyl and hyde musical) was amazing too...its so incredible...and what the nice thing is about her she doesnt have a diva attitude she is just cool dutch godess👍
Epica are really amazing - this whole concert (3 hours long) is worth a watch. But great songs from this set include: Consign to Oblivion, Unleashed, Design you Universe…
Great reaction. By the way, you may already know, but Floor's husband is drummer in metal band Sabaton and Simone's husband is in metal band Kamelot, fyi. In the spirit of "keeping suggestions coming", another female front singer, Elli Berlin, with German band Null Positiv, a symphonic / dark metal band. She has a very unique voice like Stevie Nicks, Cher, or Diana Ankudinova, stands out. My favorite with a mix of symphonic metal and dark is Wo Rauch ist, ist auch Feuer (Official Video) ruclips.net/video/lOIy-i6c_iI/видео.html. A band with male front singer who has a very unique voice, is metal but not symphonic, is LORD OF THE LOST and Under The Sun (Official Video) | Napalm Records is a impressive performance, pretty heavy though, ruclips.net/video/O9t8ViSAr70/видео.html. Daughtry, a runner up in American Idol a number of years ago, is someone you may find interesting. A recent release is a good example, "Heavy Is The Crown (Live)", ruclips.net/video/rWi4EOaBock/видео.html. He also does a great rendition of " In The Air Tonight" (LIVE COVER w/ Brad Arnold of Three Doors Down), ruclips.net/video/q_59RDuzwLI/видео.html. Then there is Ignea, Within Temptation, Eleine and many more. I have organized a lot of examples on my website. Just Google my user name and it pops up, if you are interested. Make no money with it, is a hobby only. The "female singers" pages have the women and "bands and groups" covers some of the rest. Any clicks on those videos goes to the artist, nothing my direction. Had to edit, forgot one very interesting dude. He is crazy, uses puppets, custom contacts, many other gimmicks but very talented, can play just about any instrument. A teaser, have you ever heard Adele songs done in metal format? Here is one recent release he posted, "What Is Love (metal cover by Leo Moracchioli feat. Priscila Serrano) of Frog Leap Studios ruclips.net/video/DKo9ok2829M/видео.html. Original, which is not much of a stretch, already upbeat, ruclips.net/video/XPmBnnon0Ek/видео.html.
As others have mentioned this live choir was a one time occurrence. As you can imagine the logistics of a choir and orchestra traveling with them would be difficult and expensive.
This was the anniversary event with live orchestra but normally these sounds are pre-recorded like Nightwish does. And you need to know that Epica is more a symphonic death metal band. You are beautiful by the way
Hi Molly. Well, first... Simone is much shorter than floor, however, many of the folks in European countries like Finland, Netherlands, Switzerland are tall by nature. Also, the ladies are close friends as they have know each other for years. I've been recently introduced to symphonic metal myself and can only say that Epica is the only band I know that has the whole "epic" package. Nightwish, on the other hand, go to very prestigious studios like London's Angel Studios where they regularly partner up with Pip Williams and the London Philharmonic Orchestra, London's The Metro Voices and Young Children's Choir. They have been working together since Nightwish's very first album and so they pre-record all the orchestral tracks and choirs for use as a backing track during their shows. The windmills and head banging comes from years if not decades of practice. Just ask Angus Young from AC-DC, the metal energizer bunny. He goes the entire 15-20 songs headbanging while playing guitar and all the leads.... non stop from beginning to end... Then again, they've been around since the 70s and he still does it. 👀 One thing Floor owns the rights to is ALL kinds of breath control. I can honestly say if there was a book on the topic, she wrote it. Sub to her channel (Floor Jansen) and check out her master classes, she dives a little on the topic which you might find interesting among other things. More Nightwish, please. 😊 Thank you for the video, reaction and comments. Stay safe and stay blessed. 😊❤️🤘🤘
I'd like to suggest *Abyss of Time* from Epica, in this case the music video, it's *really* cool in a wheel-of-timey-gnostic-way^^. Best regards Raoul G. Kunz
Epica, superb symphonic metal band, heavier than Nightwish, they frequently have a meld of beautiful singing and raw growls in single songs. They are from the Netherlands, there is a truly amazing amount of symphonic metal talent among Dutch singers, so Simone and Floor grew up in the same nation and in the same musical scene as it developed. Epica do not usually tour with the full orchestra, this is a special occasion, it was the 10th anniversary concert.
Since you ask for recommendations, I recommend Heilung - In Maidjan (ruclips.net/video/kmWTZ3KfnXE/видео.html ). Heilung is a German-Danish-Norwegian Nordic ritual folk band whose music is based on original artifacts and surviving texts going back to the Iron Age. They describe their music as "amplified history from early medieval northern Europe".
Traveling with just a regular band would take 45-65 crew. Traveling with an orchestra (approximately 75 people) would require 100's of crew. Simone Simons is Dutch also (and 4 months pregnant here). Floor has a method to handle breathing after her windmills and head banging. Floor is 6'1". Simone Simons is 5'6". I suspect some of that is perspective, though Floor might be wearing flats while Simone is wearing heels to even out their height a little for better camera angles. Just a guess though. I think this was in 2012 or 2013. With the replacement of Marco being so incredibly tall, Floor has noted that she might start wearing flats again (having discussed with her friend Tarja that heels are getting to her).
Molly, as others mentioned, I hope you can find the time to react to this TOP LINEUP OF MANY MUSICAL INTRUMENTS/SINGERS: The Source is the 9th studio album from *AYREON* , a progressive metal/rock opera project by Dutch musician Arjen (Ahr-Yun) Anthony Lucassen, released on April 28, 2017. *_”The Day That The World Breaks Down”_* is a song that features all 11 (quite well known) main guest singers (you’ll be surprised) and is taken from that album. Arjen himself is telling (in subtitles) who the singers are and which instruments are used and by which standards. Btw. This creative original clip is 13 min. long and I think you won’t regret it !! Official (Arjen’s) clip: ruclips.net/video/oFuMKdrzPqU/видео.html
I would love to see your reaction to an amazing all-female heavy metal band called Lovebites. This band won the 2018 Metal Hammer Golden Gods award for best new metal band. They feature a pair of lead guitarists who shred like crazy. Please react to the song "Holy War" the live version. ruclips.net/video/bgAxpEpEcno/видео.html
Yeah Simone Simons is great she been going since 17 I was 19 whenI found tehm then found Nightwish opposite of most people got onto Epica from friend Suggestion as I liked Cradle of Filth they were liek oh if you like Symphonic Metal band Epica is crazy good was his favourite found Nightwish same year started searching for more bands then found Kamelot. I really went A** Backwards lol
Great reaction. Anyway, can i request your reaction to superb band from japan? The band is call "Lovebites" They all The Beautiful Queens metal band right now in the earth. They are really really World class musicians. Phenomenal. And they have a lot fans too. The song is "Winds of Transylvania" Hope you check out, and can enjoy it too. Big thanks🙏
no it's just for this retrospective anniversary concert that they had the orchestra and choir, otherwise too expensive, only Floor is tall 6' +,Simone is 5'6
When I get the chance to see and hear 3 beautiful women I'm there. You'll love both groups. Love your smile young lady. I'd suggest Romantacide from Nightwish
2 points of constructive criticism. Not to complain but to give you feedback as i see it :) 1. Cutting the ending of videos off is bad especially with bands like Epica, Nightwish etc. but generally just a bad choice. 2. When you talk over the music while giggling/laughing everything blends together and i cant hear a thing you say nor hear the music. It just turns into one big loud blended sound. Maybe consider pausing a few times during songs to speak/react. Thats all ;) Otherwise... You are adorable
Now you see how much you missed out of because we hear this kind of music for 3 decades of symphonic metal in mainland Europe. This music was blocked by the radiostations in the US. PS you have opened pandora's box of symphonic metal. Have fun with your journey and maybe take a look at Ayreon. That is the suprême league of symphonic metal/prog.
Do not hesitate to jump into the Epica rabbit hole and continue your journey into the Nightwish rabbit hole - you won't get disappointed ;o)
Yes. And this concert was a special occasion. :)
Doesn't one of the other guitarist do some backing vocals as well... or it just on consign to oblivion?
@@gabrielstratton1775 You are correct, Isaac Delahaye does some backing vocals/screams as well.
Floor is 1.83 m.
@@weare1301 But she routinely wears 10 cm heels on stage, which is why she makes Emppu look so comically small.
Agreed, prog, metal, classical instruments and awsome vocalists (11 on this song including Floor and Simone!)
Two Dutch girlfriends.
Who've known each other for a long time.
I love them.
Greetings from the Netherlands.
I have never heard of any of these performers but it was a heck of a great performance. Thank you.
If you want to see Floor Jansen, take a look at nightwish Wacken open Air 2013, any of the song's of this concert, but you can begin with " ghost love score". also do Wembley 2015,.....and you will be.....

Whether you like heavy stuff or wonderful ballads, Epica have it all. Amazing musical compositions and the lead soprano Simone Simons is a goddess ;)
Believe it or not Epica have been making music for 19 years, they have 8 studio albums, all of them excellent :)
Live orchestra. Live choir. Epic.
You should react to them singing Stabat Mater Dolorosa. 😁
Epica is a great band....one of the top bands in the genre in my opinion. I think you will like most if not all of what they have to offer, recommend Chasing the Dragon, Sensorium, and/or Cry for the Moon as next listens from them if you like Sancta Terra.
Especially being 3 months pregnant
Nice reaction, Molly. May I recommend the first song Epica did with Floor at that concert (Retrospect, the 10 years anniversary of the band) and made all the metalheads in the venue fall silent: "Stabat Mater Dolorosa". The lyrics were written in the 13th century as a christian poem or hymn and was sung without any music until the 18th century (1736) when the Italian composer Giovanni Battista Pergolesi wrote some music for it.
Floor Jansen + Simone Simons = Power Combo (Real time friends) 🤘😍🤘.
Xena and Gabrielle has done it again 👌😉👍.
Nightwish Shadow Unit from Estonia .
I love this.
Tuomas with Nighwish uses a London orchestra and choir for the backing tracks,Traveling with a full orchestra and choir is to involved.
2 GIRL-FRIENDS ❤️ So beautiful 💕 💫 💛
I would love if you continue the Nightwish rabbit hole you will see all the versatile of Floor and the band 🤘
Very cool!
This angel is one of the best singers (incredible extremely low vocal) in the world!
Reactionaries, who have already made more than 7 thousand reactions (check my playlist) call her the queen of goosebumps!
I invite you to discover this wonderful talented young singer.
Please make reaction to Diana Ankudinova -
(rarest contralto with polyphonic overtones)
I was stunned to find that the first performance (Show "You are Super") I heard was when she was 14!!!!
⬆️ Derniere Danse - Joker song
It'll be interesting to know your opinion on the best female contralto in the world 🌎 Diana Ankudinova is so talented and popular on RUclips. Sure you'll enjoy reacting to our treasure 💖 ✨ 💕 pleaaaaase 🙏
Epica unleashed
Stay safe!
Floor is exactly 6' tall. 183cm.
Floor and Simone 😍😍😍 Orchestra was for their anniversary performance.
Love the choir bopping along in that first breakdown.
Another good symphonic band is Within Temptation. Try Somewhere live
Average height of Dutch men is 183,8 cm (6′ 0.4″)
Average height of Dutch women is 170,4 cm (5′ 7.1”)
The Dutch are, on average, ranked as the tallest people in the world.
These girls put todays "pop" and "hip hop" divas to shame I dare you to find me one that can pull off anything like this live.
Storytime live at Wacken 2013 with floor :)
Thanks for this reaction 🙂👍
I suggest that you react to Epica "Design your Universe", "The Phantom Agony" and "Unleashed" same Live Retrospect concert.
Floor is 6'1". Epica are symphonic metal similar to Nightwish. Simone is Dutch, same as Floor and decided to do this style after hearing Nightwish.
Hey, love your Dragon tattoos, awesome 👌
One thing Floor owns the rights to is ALL kinds of breath control. I can honestly say if there was a book on the topic, she wrote it. Sub to her channel (Floor Jansen) and check out her master classes, she dives a little on the topic which you might find interesting among other things.
More Nightwish, please. 😊
Thank you for the video, reaction and comments. Stay safe and stay blessed.
😊❤️🤘🤘
Go back and see the end of the video. It's cute
I'd like to suggest *Abyss of Time* from Epica, in this case the music video, it's *really* cool in a wheel-of-timey-gnostic-way^^.
Best regards
Raoul G. Kunz
Epica/Simone "Cry for the moon" and "Rivers" are epic, as is e.g. "Sweet Curse"with Floor and Simone or "Stabat Mater Dolorosa" - Have fun 🤗
Yes, Floor especially is tall. She's a 6foot viking godess.
You will enjoy this if you have heard Nightwish, Epica is excellent! They have a new Album Omega that's a little while.
They did 2 songs at this gig the other is full on double soprano
Don't forget:
Delain-masters of Destiny
Within Temptation
Also symphonic
Dutchies are the tallest people in the world!
Floor is 6' and Simone is 5' 10" and no just for live albums recordings and DVD's,/RUclips concerts.
Simone is a superhuman beauty! :O
Great reaction. Anyway, can i request your reaction to superb band from japan?
The band is call "Lovebites"
They all The Beautiful Queens metal band right now in the earth. They are really really World class musicians. Phenomenal.
And they have a lot fans too.
The song is "Winds of Transylvania"
Hope you check out, and can enjoy it too. Big thanks🙏
Eica- Chasing the Dragon live Retrospect!!!!!!
Hi Molly. Just to anwer one of your questions. Floor is 6' 1". Greetings from Yorkshire England. Take care. John.x
6'. 183cm.
no it's just for this retrospective anniversary concert that they had the orchestra and choir, otherwise too expensive, only Floor is tall 6' +,Simone is 5'6
When I get the chance to see and hear 3 beautiful women I'm there. You'll love both groups. Love your smile young lady. I'd suggest Romantacide from Nightwish
2 points of constructive criticism. Not to complain but to give you feedback as i see it :)
Looking at your arm, Chasing the dragon from Epica should be next...😉
❤❤❤❤
Please, make a reaction to the songs of the singer Diana Ankudinova.
💜💥🙏🏼
Simone's performance is even more impressing considering that she was pregnant.
Funfact... Simone and Floor were roommates.
And still BFF's
Floor is 6,1 food
Now you see how much you missed out of because we hear this kind of music for 3 decades of symphonic metal in mainland Europe. This music was blocked by the radiostations in the US. PS you have opened pandora's box of symphonic metal. Have fun with your journey and maybe take a look at Ayreon. That is the suprême league of symphonic metal/prog.
Floor is 183cm or 6 feet, and Simone is 168cm or 5 foot 6½ inches?
Not normal. It costs far too much. Floor and Simone are really good mates…thus the chemistry
👍😌💯💯🔥🔥🔥
i think KAMELOT ft. Alissa White-Gluz and Elize Ryd - Sacrimony (Official Live Video) it's good for your next vidéo
you did stop and not let going the Vid to end...so you missed something importand!
Delain masters of destiny official
да почему group если band??
I'm just gonna say it....ANYTHING with Floor Jansen is Epic. Vocal giant. Nice reaction!
Floor is tall she is 6 feet tall not sure how tall simone is but she is not as tall as Floor
Floor is a goddess. Thank you.
This is not nightwish this is Epica -with Floor Jansen ,gigle ,gigle, gigle
Strapped in and ready to go
