The Finals. CoD is solid at its foundation but lacks true Acceleration settings. To get Acceleration, you have to give up some level of the Stability settings (Threshold Steadying). The Finals does NOT compromise these. Also, The Finals allows for a more granular slider of settings. Where in CoD, some settings change every ".5", The Finals can change at ".1". So more detailed tweaks. Lastly, I have found that Recentering issues for PS5 is less in The Finals cs CoD. So this also is a big win. Yes, it's still there from time to time and I notice that one of the Steadying settings has a tendency to increase Recentering, but you can stay away from this setting quite easily.

Been playing it the last 2 days, shooting the akm, it's like a Lazer with gyro, and turning on dudes instantly with flick stick is so cool

Me too, got.the scorecard set to up on dpad, gyro off is R2, not sure what I gave up for that up button tho, but I'm really happy with the setup
How is the gyro re-centering/drift issue on Ps5 with the finals? I have been playing Fortnite lately, but the re-centering is driving me nuts

I was trying play with gyro sitting on bed and its was awful. Any ideas how to improve experience in my situation?
You might want to check if there is any orientation setting. Also mess with using yaw or roll.
Is there no ratchet function? It seems like you are trying to recenter with your flick stick
There is but there is nor a choice for "touching" the Touchpad like CoD. So it's tied to a back pedal which is tied to R3 for now.
