HI do you have a picture the location on the gearbox, as I have a smart 453 and I would like to know , plus was it easy to remove or do you have to tare down the whole gearbox to get to them?
@@jesuslives4803 they are both easily accessible and secured with 4 E8 Torx bolts each. The lower one just requires raising the rear of the car and the upper one can be accessed from under the engine cover.
@@DavesDiscoveriesChannel are they the same as the 451 , the 1and 3 is the one motor and 2and 4 and I think reverse is the other motor? so the one you removed which gear are they for?
@ it’s a totally different transmission to the 451 unfortunately, these are the clutch motors for the odd and even gear clutches (it’s dual clutch transmission unlike the 451/450).. the selector drums are controlled by solenoids

@ I bought a pair of second hand motors from eBay, the original part number is A4539063001
