That claim is absolute nonsense, how many graduates are sitting at home or working at Mcdonalds. The other thing is that you can't say that selling phones and being a waiter or uber driver is a special skill. Stop the gas lighting

@matrix0085 I think DOHA is also pushing some kind of narrative towards this whole scarce skills saga. I fail to understand why they say we have scarce skills of Doctors, nurses, teachers, and IT people it's mind-blowing. Our biggest problem is also these private sectors that do as they pleases that makes it more difficult. Private sectors are more corrupt than or government, but remember, because they are "private," no one have a say in what they do in this country, or they will back up and leave. Thousands of nurses, teachers, and doctors are sitting at home, and they are busy recruiting foreigners. My best friend's husband used to work in the trauma department at the hospital, which makes him not to be a general doctor his sitting at home for years because the government didn't renew his contract. Let's hope that while we fight for this country and the rights of the people within this country , we will 1 day be able to have peace and enjoy this country without any fights. It was first apartheid now that we have to fight illegal foreigners for our own country.

Ah, what an inspired approach-overlook thousands of unemployed, skilled Black graduates within our borders, and instead focus on recruiting talent from overseas. It is almost as though local potential is an afterthought. Surely, with exploitation still prevalent in certain industries like restaurants, we can expect a sudden, genuine commitment to diversity when recruiting from abroad? One has to wonder when we, as a country, will recognise the talent we have right here. Perhaps it is time to reconsider where our priorities truly lie.
