You can tell from this that they really had a giggle making the show, these are just the outtakes they showed there must be hours worth. 🤣
Maybe the familiarity comes from it showing the sleeze and tackiness that we've all witnessed from local bussinesses like the phoenix club during our lives. Even if you didn't grow up in Northern England, it's still a very relatable programme.

He was actually a really funny stand up with a "blue" routine. Most people only know his prime time, family friendly TV work though.

There were a few blooper clips with his girlfriend who almost sent Brian into the pond with the ducks as she struggled with moving his wheelchair and one where they are in a cafe, she wipes a crumb from his lip and they keep cracking up laughing.
Poor young Kenny (Justin Moorehouse) having to learn all that about the Xmas meal they'd booked to go on and the amount of takes they did and they didn't even use the scene in the show.
Are all of Jim Bowen's bits on the DVDs? I don't remember half of his outtakes. They're the best bit of the whole thing!

In the deleted scenes Jerry tries to teach line dancing, The bouncers talk about baldness, The club discuss a singles night, Brian gets cross at that out of order telephone bill and paddy and Young Mary flirt.
Series 2:
Joyce comes and warns Brian den Perry will buy the club. Jerry the berry does some singing. Jerry hires some free and easy acts. During the ladies night Brian tests the Chinese restaurant and the staff get cross at Brian's high aspirations for the stars night in the six episodes.
And the green hornet Jack afro was from a deleted Scene in the finale
