Ahh now i can see the light =) but all jokes aside, one thing i really love about this channel is your lessons teach how to produce an effect that can be used anywhere its needed, instead of a lesson that just produces a single outcome. An example is your lesson on extracting from a messy background, i learnt the idea of painting back in the fine hairs and how to make brushes for them, this is a method i use now on almost every retouch i do and the results are great! Thanks again, cant wait for the next lesson =)
Fun tip! @6:09 , instead of Save-As to a separate file as a displacement map, you could have just saved the current file as is, and then when selecting a source for the displacement map, you could select the current file. When applying the displacement, it will access the saved state of your file. No need to create a separate file as a displacement map.
Thanks man. I appreciate this easy yet straight to the point effective tip. I've wanted to know how to do this. So I searched on youtube and you popped right up.
Bro this helped me so so much for a project I had been working on. And no one seemed to know what I was talking about. Thank you so much, liked and shared!
Great stuff, I like that you start with an idea and then show the techniques rather than starting off with a technique and apply it to some images. I learn a lot from this and get inspired!
I think all of your videos are fantastic, you have really shown me many creative ways to make my family photos more interesting. The only question I have is have you ever considered doing a tutorials on the video side of your images. For example, the opening of the video, whereas the hologram effect is a moving object instead of a still image. Thank you again for all your hard work, keep it up!
You make the best ps Videos on RUclips! I would love to see more things, you can use on Portraits, like for example the cracked skin and this one. But that's just my preferrence. Keep doing what you want to do! Big respect
Hi my friend..This is Brilliant. easy to follow & understand like all your tutorials. Liked 100%..AND you have almost 100k subs..bring that landmark on... you truly deserve it, i will be proud of your achievement.. it WILL soon be here.
Well kinda late but in case you're still in need of an answer, here's what I would do: create a new layer, use a soft brush of whatever size/colour you want your beam to be, draw 1 dot (make sure your opacity and flow are at 100%), use the transform tool to get the shape of the beam you want, change the blending mode to "Soft Light", change opacity/fill to your liking and use a mask to hide the parts of the beams you do not like. Hope that helps. :)
When I try to create the mask with the lines on it..it doesn't work. Does this not work anymore in CC2021? Like, the mask displays the lines but I do not see them on my image preview
Im trying to do this on gimp with no luck. I can't get the bars to show up on the subject when they are no longer selected. I can't find any tutorials on this for gimp and I thought this would work with a few tweaks. I dont know what im doing wrong
I'd like to ask what camera and microphone are you using for the videos right now? Small advice if can ask to make "tips" shortcuts be visible a little bit longer on the screen. I want to ask you if you know any good video software for creating Videos with multiply audio files so I can choose 1 file from 5 sec and at 20 sec another one. Thanks for your help and tutorials. Have a good one!
Hi, please could you advise on how to make the hologram beam for the hologram from the watch please, ive managed to make a hologram following your tutorial, but i am struggling to make the beam thank you. Shaz.
