- In this week's #photoshop #speedart we're going back to the future ... for this #NFT piece I wanted to pull into the scene, with more of a focus on character, holographic techniques and ... cats.
This piece took 5 Hours to complete and is primarily a mix of photo-manipulation techniques as well as some digital painting where needed.

A person is not born to be good at Photoshop or what ever.
A person is born to have creative capabilities that manifest them selves in different mediums, and in different time span because it is relatable to the unique talent skills and intellect of the Artist and how much time its needed for that person to get to a particular level that is considered good, great or a master. So I imagine you have talent and just think you don't. That is the only possible option which would follow the universal laws which are constants and can't be changed without the right ''tools'' (talent, programs, skillsets, experience, problem solving skills etc.). Can't chat more, I work 24/7. Anyways good luck in life and stay safe.

I am always amazed by your skills mate, this is some really advanced editing and I am pretty sure there are not many artists out there who could do this. I am not so experienced self-taught artist and I was wondering if you could share some tips on how to color-match objects ... I see you are often using Color Balance/Hue Saturation Adjustment Layers but I am having trouble doing it right. Thank you! :)

The end result is indeed very cool; but I struggle not to wince on seeing an "advanced" user perform any routine action (in Photoshop) by manually navigating through successive drop-down menus, or back and forth between canvas and toolbar, rather than simply memorising and invoking the respective keyboard-shortcuts-for instance, B for Brush, V for Move, M for Marquee, L for Lasso, E for Eraser; Cmd+B for Colour Balance, Cmd+U for Hue/Saturation, Cmd+L for Levels; Cmd+Alt+J for Duplicate Layer Dialog, Alt+Shift+F for Soft Light; et cetera.
While both his knack for compositing and conceptual understanding of Photoshop suggest a good few years' experience, believe me when I say you could surpass this workflow in a matter of months-weeks, even-and then eventually go on to achieve that same output in perhaps as little as 50% of the time.
As to colour-matching: once you've fully grasped the fundamentals of colour theory (and complementary colours in particular), a combination of Curves, Selective Color, Hue/Saturation and Camera Raw Adjustments will then do everything you need.
