There are certain Jollibee branches in Metro Manila (e.g. Greenhills) where they don't only use powder to spice up the chicken joy but the spiciness is embedded from the crispy coating to the meat underneath. Also just a few days ago, Jollibee launched new items on the menu called the Bacon Cheesy Deluxe Yumburger and the Crispy Spice Fries. :)
It's a bummer that you guys doesn't have the opportunity to try the Ube (purple yam) pie...since it's a limited edition thing when it was summer here in the Philippines
Some Jollibee stores here in the Philippines offer the spicy chicken joy differently. The hot spice is not sprinkled on top but rather the hot spice is marinated with the chicken then fried, making the spice flavor all the way through the meat. You should try that version too..if you're still here though heheehe. Happy you're enjoying Jollibee

6:08 lol The aloha yum burger was originally the "amazing aloha" champ burger option long time ago with a slice of pineapple. Also before it is yum with tlc(without the pineapple slice). The aloha yum was just released recently afaik. Maybe because of the price of the champ compared to the yum tlc. Maybe you should have noted the serving size differences between here and abroad.

Hey! Fun fact, when they announced the aloha burger coming to Philippines, they made a trailer with Mr yum (burger mascot) in the airport greeted by jolibee fans
you guys heard wrong, they first featured the aloha burger here in PH and brought it to the US when they started opening branches there. but instead of being a mainstay they've turned it seasonal to alternate it with their other seasonal item, the cheezy bacon yumburger. but hey why didn't you get the teeny-tiny peach mango pie -- which used to be as long as the US version -- that they're trying to turn into bite-size pies to keep their dessert prices affordable here?! lol
The Aloha Burger was first Introduced in the Philippines and not in the United States. @Ganda Gandara My bad 😅 I just vaguely remember it being off for a few months at a time, similar to what they do with the tuna pie.
It is not available now. I asked the other day. That is my fave burger.
Yep. I can confirm it's not on the menu right now but we get bacon cheese burger instead w/c isn't bad but why can't we have both?

When a fast food place is recommended by Anthony Bourdain - they are doing something right.
To be fair, Anthony more recommended people at least try the experience of it more than saying it was amazing food.
He did not recommend it though. Jollibee is good but its so overrated.
