I've been using wave for 5-6 yrs, it was completely free it is not anymore you now get the wave logo on the bottom of your invoices and some features that were free are locked unless you pay and upgrade your service. Also you should note not many accountants and bookkeepers like to use wave when it comes to tax time.
great video with a silky voice, question for you if you know- can you use another payment processor to process credit card transactions with a credit card reader? Or will wave not support that integration and make it a huge problem to integrate these transactions
Thanks for commenting! Wave does not support integrations with credit card readers or external payment processors. Unfortunately, you'll have to manually reconcile in-person transactions into the Wave accounting system.
I'm the treasurer for our HOA and we use the free version of Wave for our accounting software. I do like the invoicing system and the nice look. However, I can't figure out a way to make ONE invoice for our annual dues and send it to all 131 owners.....instead of having to make 131 invoices. Is there a way to do that? Make one repetitive invoice and send it to everyone? We basically have 131 "customers" . Thanks for any help.
I’m not sure if there’s a direct method to doing that. The best thing I would do is create and then voice that’s all encompassing, and then duplicate that invoice to each recipient and make those reoccurring invoices. A lot of work upfront, but it’ll save you time in the long run.that’s assuming if the HOA fees that you bill people are monthly. If it’s yearly and all you have to do is duplicate the invoice and change the recipient email.
@@NASM4649 thanks for the input. Yes it's annual, but I really don't want to type in 131 different email addresses. I'm looking for an HOA software that will do this for me. Surely there is one....instead of using an app for business.
You need to integrate with make or zapier. With make you should be able to import your spreadsheet and then create a repetitive task using the API to create invoices or wave. Otherwise you should be able to create repetitive monthly invoices which would only require you to make the first invoice for each customer.
That's definitely a lot of work to manually create 131 invoices. Wave lets you create templates and set recurring invoices, which may streamline the process for you. For a system that's specific to your industry, I'd recommend looking into our HOA software page -- Yardi Breeze and Wild Apricot are good options to help automate your invoicing processes: softwareconnect.com/roundups/best-preventive-maintenance-software/
