DIY Self Balancing Robot (Arduino based)

This is a demonstration of my DIY Arduino based robot that uses ESP32 as its brain. The robot is pretty stable on flat surfaces but stones on the road sometimes make it fall. Later I will make a video on how to build such robot.

Look forward to see your build video...started a similar project two weeks ago gathering parts and getting close to assembly. Great job on your build. What do you have on the top, two silver bars or white board (styrofoam?)

It is probably styrofoam or something similar, it is lightweight, it is for protection, because the robot falls a lot. I was using this guy work as a base for my robot ruclips.net/video/D7hvI_Tb0o4/видео.html I did some mistakes initially, I bought wrong stepper motors, the stepper motors had high inductance and could not rotate fast enough. I still not sure that I chose the right one, because robot sometimes falls just because the motors could not provide enough torque... But more powerful motors probably weight much more, and cost much more, so there is a trade off. Maybe I just need to increase current by using more powerful drivers... not sure. Are you going to use stepper motors or DC motors?
