- In this episode of Raxxla theories i will be exploring the possible connections that Raxxla has to the guardian race, the Guardian AI and the Van Maanen's Star system. I will be discussing the Guardian extinction event and the possible subversion of the monolith network by hands unknown.Does the human race within the Elite Dangerous universe really want to find Raxxla, whatever that may be.

That although all confirmed lore researched to make these videos has been sourced from connected pieces of information such as gal-news articles, in game lore entries, wiki articles and forum posts some information mentioned is speculative. After so many years of playing this game i struggle with motivation, as probably many others do. Content like yours brings the ED universe to life and keeps people interested in the mysterious past, present and future of this game. It fuels my will to log in and fly around on a regular base, even it is just for a couple of minutes each day... So thanks for that man!

Ok, you have officially convinced me to resume my search for Raaxla. Perhaps Raaxla is not a place but a who... Once I have completed my current series of expeditions, I will endeavor to answer this...
Their are groups such as kaizens turning the wheel group who you can join. Alternatively notice the 20 Gigs dropped onto your HDD post fleet carrier update and assume ( like me ) that something has entered the game.
@@MATTIUS actually I did not notice this... perhaps several somethings where added. I always thought there was a lot more hidden story elements left in the game still. So perhaps, even more so now.
It doesn't make since for something intelligent and concerned for its future existence to then simply turn it self off indefinitely after getting rid of a perceived threat. If it were truly sentient then it shouldn't have an issue creating a new directive. This seems more akin to a Skynet terminator scenario on a galactic scale. There must be more out there in the dark.

The end of your video showing the Sentinel has given me a chilling thought. It looks unnervingly similar to my Pimax 5K+, when looked at face on. Colours, lights, and all!

I don't place much stock in there being a connection between the Guardians and Raxxla (which I thought was a human thing?), and I'm dubious about the chances that any Guardians survive (unfortunately), but this is a really interesting theory! Hopefully Odyssey will open up new avenues for discovering answers to some of these questions.
One request: can transcripts of your videos be posted in the description or otherwise made available? Some of the proper nouns you reference are unfamiliar, and it'd be easier to understand and research further if I knew how they were spelled.

Nobody knows what Raxxla is except for the codex entry. We dont even know whether the toast has been ret-conned or not.

I always thought the remainder of the guardians would swoop in and help us when the thargoids made everyone freak out about the bubble on fire but then instead fdev decided to start prepping for odyssey launch.
We don't know what's coming in oddessy storywise so there could be guardian stuff then.

A few people believe the Guardian AI has a connection to Raxxla, myself included. Could be some kind of Matrioshka brain.

The Guardian anatomy is known to the human race and is significantly different.
The Guardians' psychology, language, and society are comprehensible to humans, and their fundamental biology is far more similar to ours than is the Thargoids'. However, they're clearly alienand unrelated to us. They just evolved under similar environmental conditions.
If you take the Ram Tah missions to explore the Guardian ruins, you'll uncover a lot of information from their historical records. It's definitely a grind, but personally I found the whole experience fascinating and worth the time. It's worth looking up some online guides in advance though.
