As someone who doesn't have access to EOD yet and really wanted to build a good chrono this really gives me hope .I'm a new player but don't also wanna just try an easy to play class ,so here I am. Will try this build ,hope I master it .

Great vid, man. I’ve been out of the game for more than a year, but Power chrono was my jam back in the HoT days. Really cool to see it being played again.
I was in that match and that lower meditation was PAINFUL because we had almost our whole team on home node.. we only lost by 50 ish points. That was such a bad play for the guys who stayed home. Good video. And it shows how important having map awareness is.
Man wish I am good enough to make Chrono work even with distortion back. Good stuff.
I'm happy it feels like I can play Chrono and Virtu again in sPvP with distortion back, looking forward to trying this build!

For someone who plays every build you generally do a pretty good job and you have a very good understanding of game theory. Chrono however takes a lot longer to learn all the intricacies. This build may b an improvement for casuals but I actually think the one on metabattle is the best build in the entire game right now. After the addition of distortion chronomancer is without a doubt the best class. I'm a little rusty now but I used to play in the top 500 level for a few seasons and I am completely obliterating people like they are standing still. Dropping into teamfights and nuking their entire team and winning 1v3s with ease. I would definitely stay with assasins amulet and mantra of distraction over wells and alacrity uptime. I don't think sacrificing burst for dps and adding sustain is really the point of playing power mesmer builds.
top 500? is that even gold man? XD I play the game on hard mode with people sniping me and focusing me just because they see its me. If you wanna play a one shot build be my guest, but this one isn't winning 1v3s with ease against platinum players who actually deal damage lmao
@@Vallun I mean I played at that level at the height of the game in the old ranking system. Was not trying to brag hard but the highest I got ever was rank 17. Right now just casually my elo is around 1850 but I haven't tried to really push. But anyway I would not say it is a one trick build at all. It has plenty of survivability. I beat plat players 1v3 all the time bc that's around my elo rn but I used to play much higher than that. Anyway I generally like your builds and you're a pretty good player sorry to be rude. Was just pointing out that for once metabattle actually has a superior build whereas a lot of time your builds on guildjen are more up to date

I always found that iteration of Chrono too glass especially in the current meta and I'm not sure distortion is enough to take it above being an all in press every button x2 bursty build for a layman player like me. I think the alac and survivability of the build in the vid provides more margin for error and versatility.
@@Dontgankmeplx It has plenty of survival for sure. You can continuum shift mirror image distortion and block with shield and then do that again and be invulnerable for like 30 seconds straight lol.
I am really looking forward with this build. Currently, I am using Power Chrono. I am getting used to it but I used torch (berserker amulet and rune of eagle) instead of shield for survivability. What do you think with the torch compared to the shield in terms of sustainability?
Shield is better unless youre using PU
@@KorEditing Funny this is, I don't use Chaos as one of my specialization, but the torch still helps to counter my enemies' attack. I delete my opponent as fast as I can, though. Kinda works for me. I tried shield, but it isn't just my style.
Played against someone who had the god of pvp title running shatter chrono and let me say I’ve never been continuously 1 shotted in my life before
ouch. chrono requires being master and when you master it, its scary af. but prolly at max a few ppl do it in the game :D
Brilliant. I can see this working really well in PvE as well with a few tweaks. The distortion really puts chrono back on the map.
I wonder of Shorts_gaming will also pick it up again :D
