To those who are curious, Subetai was one of the best Mongol generals of the horde. Ogedai was the successor of Denghis Khan and would have had a serious change of conquering Europe if he hadn't died.
And now the world is overrun by different kinds of mongols instead...

@@ABorderPrince subotei was the most successful military commander the world has ever seen. He won more pitched battles, conquered more land, defeated more nations than any other general in history. During the invasion of Europe he commanded 2 armies which were around 500 miles apart and won both battles decisively. He was not royalty, he started as a nobody and worked his way up through the ranks. His last field command came at the age of 70 something a year before he died

I love The Khan, Vulkan and Magnus. Truly love them. They make it so hard to stick to one army though.

White Scars are a top 3 Chapter for me in 40K and just outside the top 3 Legions of loyalists. The Khan is done so well in the novels.

Two good audiobooks I have on the Scars. "Scars", and "Apocalypse". Great White Scar stories. A Great Legion and Chapter.
Didn't know about Apocalypse. Will definitely check that out. Path of Heaven is also fantastic.
@@StormReaper5 It's a Primaris/Frist Born Story by Josh Reynolds. Staring Imperial Fists, White Scars and Raven Guard in it, going up against Word Bearers on an isolated system. Well worth a listen. Really ties in both the First Born and Primaris.
