What the heck was this epic play! I was holding my breath at so many times!
Bro, this reminds me of the Zealot game I had at 5am today. I just went into quickplay damnation for a chill last game to finish the night off, at least I thought it would be.
I wasn't expecting Throne Side Strike to cause the amount of pain my hands were about to go through because of my spammy knife build. Gunners, Trappers, Bulwarks, Crushers, Reapers, Ragers, Snipers and Bombers the whole time, it was a tagging mania from me the whole mission so the Vet, who i believe was using Focus Target to retag.
The mission starts with me spawing in while the team is crossing the bridge, from my Damnation reletively noobish eyes, it was a hellscape. I ended up slicing, dicing, sniping and dashing towards heavy gunners and gunner squads to lessen the teams load as much as I could. I thank the Vet for having Krak Nades for the Chaos Ogryns.
We arrive at the street section, with gunners everywhere, where shootouts, snipe offs and also a Crazy Man(me) rushing at them at mach speeds with nothing but a knoife and revolver. We were fighting all the horde of melee and gunners from the start of the steps till the first stairs near the archway. My teammate I matchmade with named Tarkus called me "The Emperors Favourite Crackhead" while he stabbed the blue juice into me while fighting that horde that felt like it lasted 7 minutes of constant mashing, it was hilarious and motivating, felt like I was helping a lot more than I probably was.
We eventually made it to the single hack library room with gunner squads, snipers, bomber, muties, dogs spawning, my fingers weaving in headshots during melee combat and running into gunners squads spawns to force them into melee or run away was the best feeling, this room ended up in a frantic elevator escape. I dont exactly recall what exactly happened at the end of this section apart from fighting from the elevator but i was shaking the blood back into my hands during the elevator ride, preparing for what I thought would be the worst section.
The end hacking section wasnt too bad considering I had the whole mission to adapt to the crazy heretics, and my teammates taking out Snipers, just had to headshot a lot of gunners and avoids/kill snipers, then help hold the highest point and hack when needed till we could get out.
It is the most intense yet fun mission I've played in my 150 hours.
I dont think my mission was as frantic and crazy the mission in this video by a decent margin, it was cool to see a differently knoife style aswell, good for learning imo.

how do you heavy attack so fast? just good timing on the attack or do you have it bound to a different button than "hold primary attack"?
I do it from good timing. You can also link the heavy attack from the special action of the knife by pressing the attack button immediately after. This can be done indefinitely if you have the rhythm down.
When a clutch turns into a carry and a carry turns into a solo act 😅. Should have taken your chances with the bots.
That said had it been me the game director would have thrown in 15 trappers 25 dogs 35 mutants and 45 bursters in the span on 15 seconds...

Hold the attack button during the block. Your character will push first and then the attack will come out if you're still holding down the button.
