For your future hikes several products you might want to try. 1. Full body Mosquito Net Suits. Then you don't have to wear your rain gear in the heat. 2. You could also try those Chinese sun hats, that have bug netting attached to the brim of the hat. They are very versatile. You can roll the netting up and keep it on top of the hat. If you get swarmed, you can pull the netting down quick and have instant protection. The hat also keeps the net away from your skin so you can't get bit through the netting. Even if there are no bugs around you can pull the net down for sunscreen protection, if you need it. They are very useful. 👍

Thank you. I just like taking pictures and had never videotaped/posted anything before the trails. I cringe at much of the chaotic video I've taken. Trying to calm it down a bit so people can see and appreciate the trail/views without making them throw up! I never intended to have it public, so I had no experience. I should get some tips before the next hike! I just want to capture the reality better...the beauty, the steepness, dangers, surprises, special views or moments. I'll take this as progress and I'm open to any tips! Thanks!

@@thefieldtrip I'm so happy that you did make these videos public. I have so totally enjoyed your video adventure. For someone who claims, no experience, you are doing a marvelous job. Cameras have a tendency to make things look flat, which most people never really figure out, I never could, and I did a lot of photography myself. Believe me, you are doing a jam up job of catching the beauty, I'm impressed. Of course with beautiful landscapes like this, it's hard to go wrong, and you're doing it justice. I'll say it again, and again, Thank You for letting all of us into your hiking world. From all the comments I read, and I read, and like them all.. You are getting a bigger, and bigger group of followers who are falling in love with what you, and the boys are doing. You are Legends!!!!!!!!

Yes, it's a spectacular section for sure! Looking back at the video, knifes edge was ok for us, but it was the traverses with the snow in the condition it was and the scree that led to steep snow...thanking God for watching our footing and keeping us safe!

15:03 That is a good view of Mt St Helens.. Imagine how it used to look before it lost 1,300 feet of its height!

Have been getting a kick out of following your intrepid crew as I am the eldest of four boys that adventured in the forests of Oregon and Washington with our outdoorsy parents. The snow slide "incident" reminded me of times we boys did crazy things while mom watched - she would later tell dad she couldn't believe she just sat and watched us! LOL Massive accomplishment you guys! Carry on!
