Picking up a 2024 C8 with black exterior with adrenaline red interior HTC in two weeks. Thanks for the video, reaffirmed my choice to not pay for the OEM wheels, spoiler, etc. Plenty of awesome aftermarket choices. $1,500 for that spoiler though, Jesus. That z06 style spoiler is available now for $350.
@@SerhansGarage I hear you man, glad there are more options now. I went for the 2LT, is there a reason you'd opt for the 1LT next time? For me, I wanted the upgraded sound and the head's up display. Heated & cooled seats, eh, less important for me. Are the 2LT features underwhelming for you?
A number of people have said the design team exonomized on the brakes and wheels. Even the Z51 is not up to track level. The rer are two new forged design of wheels you could now get from factory.
Not needed in my opinion, they are flush with the panels but wouldn't hurt. I don't have any chips in the sides and back of fenders and quarter panels els.
I don't remember exactly but I have a detailed video on the specs of these wheels. They stick out about half inch more than stock and line up perfectly with the fenders
It's so crazy..I was just talking to a sales manager who's over my ZR1 deposit. Bro, if you want more sound and power, modify it, duh! Lol The LT2 responds amazingly to mods. You can go as high as 1200hp. But that's what makes this hobby amazing, don't be scared send it to the performance shop, I wanna see your smile afterwards! Lol FYI the sales manager was telling me how so many C8 buyers don't truly understand, what they're buying. The ZR1 is a track car..it will ride completely different. You're in the right model if your looking for noise and speed on the street. You stated you didn't option Z51 package because you wouldnt use of. Totally understandable..But why in the hell would you buy the track version. Lol Mod it. But if you wanted more, I would go Eray. Those mods on a LT2 which is more reliable than a LT7 and proven, plus an INSTANT 150hp and crazy torque, that's a whole new level for daily driving. Remember the Stingray has more torque than LT7. Great video.
Thank you. I am planning to upgrade the exhaust to get more exhaust and I agree an Eray would be better for me but none of my local dealerships are taking deposits as a result I will modify this one for more power and sound.
The stock exhaust and performance exhaust that comes with the Z51 package are similar in sound, the latter barely slightly louder. I chose aftermarket - bit louder than stock
@jaditention1713 StreetHunter sells one that is similar bit expensive. Paragon has one that is more rounder, I think it was around $600 last time I checked
I hate to say it but round taillights are so outdated. If y’all want round taillights, then don’t use your AC because the first Corvette had round taillights and no AC is how I think about round taillights.
Initially GM recommended 7500 miles for the first DCT fluid change but they revised it to 45000 miles recently. I'll ask my local dealership to confirm.
Also the 2024s don't need 2 quarts of DCT fluid added for track use like prior year models.Im thinking of posting a video on this to make it more clear
@SerhansGarage correct for the oil yes, the DCT filter itself is still 12000km. My buddy has one and he just had the oil changed with the dct filter eventhough GM changed their tune.
I have a 23 1LT and have ZERO complaints....

Hopefully you had the areas outside of your wheel wells PPF because the tires stick out beyond them now.

@@SerhansGarageyes for people that are tracking, it is no longer a concern that they have to add the 2 litres as recommended.
