Unbreakable in my opinion is superior to the Sixth Sense in many ways, especially the twist ending. The twist in Unbreakable just leaves a bigger impact and made me think more. The camerawork is phenominal in it, very similar to stece mc queens in shame and hunger, two other great films. Truly an underated masterpiece.

I have GREAT respect for M. Night Shyamalan. He made three unforgettable cinematic masterpieces (The Sixth Sense,Unbreakable,Signs) which he is best remembered for. However,I feel sorry for him as he couldn't maintain his initial success. But I still feel he is a GREAT Director;after Signs his screenwriting talent started diminishing. But he's still hot property in Hollywood!

Shyamalan has a wonderful imagination, he knows how to make movies that are completely unique. Just because he fucked up your stupid kiddy show doesn't mean you should hate all of his movies. Unbreakable is one of the best movies i've ever seen, even better then Sixth Sense which was AMAZING.

it's messed up how sometimes people just "missing the point" of what a film is going for can bring the filmmaker down and make him feel ashamed of his work. what he's talking about here is likely one of the main reasons why he ended up making bad films afterwards. he got depressed, and even though signs was more successful, it was even less critically acclaimed than unbreakable, and so things went down from there. imagine if people actually appreciated unbreakable, or at least people from the studio had told him the problem wasn't him or the film, but the audience, maybe the quality of his films wouldn't have declined afterwards

Calm down...? Sorry you're about 7 months late. I still feel that way but I'm not in need of "calming down" lol. M. Night realy messed up.....could have been a great movie but his version was simply disgraceful.

Shyamalan is a "THIEF"..... FAKE 3D, FAKE ADVERTISMENTS, FAKE EVERYTHING. This guy stold from the Avatar Fans! Give back my money, time, and favorite tv show and then maybe you won't feel so dipressed for ripping off tons of people who actaully gave you a chance. This is not "Hate" this is "FACT" and "disapointment" in a guy who was supposed to be a great director! What the hell happened to you M. Night? Your movie was so, so BAD!
