Nice video and explanation. The folks at CATRIKE are absolutely the very best for customer support and very prompt responses. Great company to do business with. I’ve had my new 700 for two weeks and love it and share riding time with my 559. Bike on!
Wow! When I had my motor added I bought an extended boom because I wanted as much boom inside the main tube as possible to support the added weight. But good to know I can remove some boom if necessary. Great video!
When I saw you reinstalling the boom after cutting it, I wondered if you had tightened it. I assumed that the video had been edited and it was just not shown. I guess that was not the case.
Note, cutting the boom will not wreck an in production trike! New booms can be purchased. As for my Actionbent a new boom may be much harder to locate and may require fabrication, keep what is cut off it may be possible to weld it back on! Love your videos except for the bubble views there could be a few less of those (not none). The recordings offer superb resolution, yay!

Thanks!
Looks like shortening of the boom was a success... Good job... Keep on Triking!
Got it on the hitch rack today and it seemed a lot safer. Thanks!
Thanks for the info

I can be such a dingus. :)
You could also rub some paraffin (wax) on the hacksaw blade.
This would be a nice video if we could actually see the trike. Nice shots of your back though.

So do you push the boom in each time you put it on the rack?
What software do you edit with?
Davinci Resolve. It has been such an improvement over Vegas Pro.
Did you fart at 2:52/2:53? ;-) J/K. Love your channel and thanks for this informative video! Keep on Tri-King!
