@@barntswithbraidey1 Hardware Test is a lot of troubleshooting and device management. Software Test is mainly procedures and software troubleshooting. I happened to get a lot of printer questions on Hardware, so I'd study how printers work (specifically laser printers) before taking it. I don't recall any port numbers on Hardware, but Software had a few questions with them involved. Hardware also has a lab that requires you to know how wires work -- study connectors, punchdown tools, routers, switches, punchdown blocks, etc.
@@ALostPaperBag Yes, it was helpful as supplemental material. I also read the textbook for the class I was in -- I think it was the 11th Edition of "CompTIA A+ Guide to IT Technical Support."
YAY! I've been looking at comptia website thinking I should buy from there b/c I wasn't sure if Messer would legit help me and cannot afford to keep spending money for exams. I would like to still buy certmaster labs but before i buy the learn i am going to try professor messer.

This question about the cup connection was very tricky. The 4pin connection got me. If u had said 8pin connections then I would have got this right 😅 👍❤
