I remember always looking at this play set in my Sears Christmas Catalogue, but I was never able to get it. I never begged my mom to get it for me, and I never ever asked my old man lol.
I had this as a kid and yea, those connector pieces would not stay on! The rail for the elevator on mine was warped which made moving it up and down difficult. That buzzsaw was always scraping against the cardboard. The water tower for the slime never held up. The rubber piece for the retractable web split. But I still have fond memories of playing with this as a kid.
Remember drooling over this playset in the toy store as a kid, it was the coolest thing i've ever seen. I even tried to recreate it at home using parts of my other action figures.
I'm from Brazil where the cartoon also made a huge success. Even though there weren't regular launches of toylines back in the 90's I could get one of these back in the day. I could assemble it alone, it was no big deal (I was probably 9). Something that amazed me at that time was the art in this playset. It's really good (and I wasn't into comics). Nice to have my memories back!

Wow, I had this playset as a kid. It's one of the best toy sets I can remember from my childhood. The slime was my favorite part lol
I finally got the Daily Bugle playset a few years ago. It's great for the Marvel Universe 4 inch figures. That's what I use mine for.
I had this playset in the early 90's had lot of fun with it with all my Marvel Universe Toy Biz figs.
