For the seasoned eggs, combine 1 tablespoon (tbsp) soy sauce, 1 tbsp mirin and 1tbsp sake :) If the mirin is not available, add a pinch of sugar instead of it.
Thank you for this channel. I love Cooking with Dog because it makes it easy to find authentic Japanese recipes. The videos are fun to watch and easy to follow. Thank you for this great channel.
9 years later in the mist of Covid, my family has faith in my cooking thanks to you. Thanks Francis for his dedication, RIP Thanks the chef and the production for continue your dedication and my decade tummy love plus dream. Hope you all found well and happiness.
Miss Anchovy *You made it one time and you already think it’s better than ramen shops with years of experience making this one dish? I highly doubt that.*
I love to cook!!! This channel is beautiful, relaxing and very educational. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to make these videos. I have been watching for about 4 years now!!! :)
I made this ramen for the fourth time, i suppose. And the result came out great as always, A big hit. Thank you for sharing your japanese recipes with your precise instructions giving us the opportunity to cook our homemade japanese dishes at home all around the world.
Get well soon! ...and you are right, this is a very complicated dish to make (just because it's so time consuming), but I am sure this would be delicious on a cold weekend. I just love watching your channel and everything you make.
D: The message at the end. Sorry that happened to you. I can't cook, I somehow manage to burn spaghetti noodles (one of the easiest things to make that I know of that isn't a salad) but I still like cooking shows a lot.
dunno the proper name for them, those long slightly thicker noodles you make spaghetti with - we sometimes just boil them and put butter and salt on them.
Your food always looks so good, and you make it look effortless (even though it obviously needs a lot of skill and patience). I hope you get better, Chef! We're all rooting for you! :)
Wishing you a speedy recovering. Your show has inspired me to try many different things, thank you very much! Also thank you for sharing your wonderful and delicious culture to those around the world. Bless you!! Love from California.
I'm grateful to having met you Chef, even if it's only within the realm of RUclips. It just makes me happy knowing there are people like you in this world :)
I have cooked this once without kombu kelp other times i found on amazon. I found fermented bamboo on amazon too but found a quick replacement recipe online. I use crab/seafood sticks instead as well. This tastes so amazing especially the pork and eggs. I’ve also used chicken. Make sure to prepare early or use a pressure cooker. Thanks so much chef
I don't think many people end up actually trying this but i have committed to making this. I can not wait to taste it tonight. You really have to find a Japanese grocery store in order to source these ingredients, there really rare in western countries. Good luck everybody :)
Just made this. Ridiculously DELICIOUS. I had to make a couple modifications, but I'm familiar with Japanese ingredients and cooking Japanese food, so I'm hoping my substitutions were good ones. Me and my toddler little girl enjoyed the dish very much. I am such a fan.
Get well soon! I've discovered your tutorials only few days ago. Totally like them. I hope there gonna be lots of them in the future! ~ greetings from Almaty, Kazakhstan
for some reason i always watch these videos when im hungry and so i get more hungry. my mom makes food and after watching this i feel unsatisfied with what my mom makes haha please adopt me nice-awesome cooking-asian lady!!
Just made this today, and my goodness was it tasty! Definitely worth making, a lot of steps but worth it. I have extra stock and broth left over for another meal!
Get Better Chef, my hopes, prayers and love goes out to you. I just wanted to say, that the CWD videos you all make of the food is amazing, but watching chefs expression as she makes each dish though, that is what brings me back to watch your videos every single time :)
Brillant ❤ Thank you for being around for some of us ❣️ I'm going to cook feom this recipe today, with some variations as i dont have pork ribs, but have pork belly slices
Get well soon Chef! We all love you and your amazing cooking skills! Couldn't help but laugh at the ending because I was thinking through the whole film "I can't wait to start cooking this dish!" and then he said ..."this is one of the most complicated recipes" and then I was like.. "eh.. maybe not",
I wish a fast recovery to the chef and hope to see her soon teaching us delicious food, i'm Portuguese and today I've made my first real Ramen, the only ingredients i couldn't find was menma and Narutomaki, still it was delicious, i will always rather make my own than to buy on stores, it takes quite some time but the flavour
I love your cooking channel and wow! This is a most complicated recipe, but it looks absolutely delicious! If someone went through so many steps to make me an amazing soup like that, I would be so amazingly happy since soup is one of my favorite foods. I wonder if this is how they make ramen in Japan when you go to a restaurant??
Pork ribs was a translation mistake! Please use pork belly. Thank you for bringing this to our attention :)
Mirin is a kind of sweet rice wine, one of the essential condiments for Japanese cooking. You may add a pinch of sugar instead of the mirin :)
This was 3 yrs ago but i hope the Chef has recovered well, praying for her. I love her cooking and would wanna see more .
Oh, nevermind
For the seasoned eggs, combine 1 tablespoon (tbsp) soy sauce, 1 tbsp mirin and 1tbsp sake :) If the mirin is not available, add a pinch of sugar instead of it.

CookwithSarah Thank you for your kind comment! We are planning to introduce another yakibuta recipe someday. :)

Yukiko Bunyasiri what is 🍥?
aiyana helton that's a slice of naruto, a type of kamaboko (fish cake) typically used as topping in ramen

*sobs while eating a bowl of instant ramen*
*Pat pat*
There there...
*Eats store bought sushi*
*laughs while eating ramen*
Why?
No worries. You can try to make something more delicious by adding the spinach and egg like in the show! Balance as always.
You can add meat, vegetables and sauces to your liking.
They have pork belly at Walmart.
9 years later in the mist of Covid, my family has faith in my cooking thanks to you.
Thanks Francis for his dedication, RIP
Thanks the chef and the production for continue your dedication and my decade tummy love plus dream.
Hope you all found well and happiness.
I made this and it was the best ramen ever!! Better than any restaurant!! Thank you Chef and Francis!!
Miss Anchovy *You made it one time and you already think it’s better than ramen shops with years of experience making this one dish? I highly doubt that.*

I just started watching these videos but I feel in love them with! I watch them over and over 😁. The best step by step videos
I'm confident that ramen will become one of the most popular dishes in the world !!
It is for college students and single males :)
+dumpster No no
You don't have a clue hahaha ;)
+yohhi2014 Ummm it is you weeb
+dumpster Real, authentic ramen like this is not. It's a really time consuming dish to make, not something quick and microwavable.
There is a very good ramen restaurant near my house :D
Always a pleasure to see you cooking. Get well soon, speedy and painless!!!
RAMENGAAAN!!!!
Donnie Pinns this comment deserves all the likes lol
I love you chef and Francis! You teach me how to cook all the food that keeps me happy!
damn you probably burn more calories making this than you get out of it.
😂😂😂
WOW! This is such an extensive recipe. It makes all the other ramen recipes look like they were just boiling noodles.
want some NOW
Get well soon! ...and you are right, this is a very complicated dish to make (just because it's so time consuming), but I am sure this would be delicious on a cold weekend.

Spaghetti.
>'Noodles'
dunno the proper name for them, those long slightly thicker noodles you make spaghetti with - we sometimes just boil them and put butter and salt on them.
Sounds unusual, do you live somewhere, like, out of the way? I don't think you could possibly make spaghetti with anything other than the real thing.
I live in a city, you make spaghetti with long noodles and sauce in a jar to my knowledge.
ah, no. spaghetti is pasta, not noodles.
Best wishes, chef. You've been a true inspiration to me in the kitchen. Thank you for all you've done.
RIP Francis.
Thanks Doge
Your food always looks so good, and you make it look effortless (even though it obviously needs a lot of skill and patience). I hope you get better, Chef! We're all rooting for you! :)
