Since canon is behind on a flagship camera and the fact 2023 is looking to be a rough year, the only option i see is to delay the release or make the R5 mark ll the absolute best on every category compared to anything else on the market. Go all out to induce fomo. A lackluster product will not sell well in our down economy in 2023. People need to be pursuaded to sell their homes, cars, wives to purchase this beauty 😅

Some may disagree but the third party lends issue has gone viral and is hurting the Canon brand, especially in the mind of those looking to get into full frame photography. Canon better knock it put of the park and make the price point in the realm of reality.

There are no longer any overheating issues on the R5 after firmware 1.6. The issue has been fixed.

I heard there were still issues when the ambient temp/humidity was high. I am curious to see someone open up an r6 mark ii and see what changes were made to the thermal design. The original r6 had worse thermals than the r5.

@Jon Hellier I filmed in hot humid temperatures in the carribean in 8k raw recently for over an hour. Haven't experienced overheating yet! R6 is unfortunately still an issue. I'm sure the mark ii has been improved.

I do not find the rumored specs to be very realistic.

The rumor clearly says it is NOT stacked! BSI, yes. But not stacked! You even said (in the video) that we haven't heard anything about the sensor being stacked so your title is very misleading!

/facepalm... Sport.. sport.. sport.. Its word play sport. He used "stacked" as in "loaded" or "lots" of new upgrades/features. Its like seeing a hot chick and saying "Shes stacked!"

@@lastmanstanding5572 You can certainly spin it that way but we all know that having the word "Stacked" in all CAPS in a video title in regards to a pro camera is very misleading. 90% if not more will believe that the camera's sensor is stacked. This is totally intentional and I just feel like this kind of clickbait is unnecessary.
