I can ses why Dicaprio used Meeker as his character in Once upon a time in Hollywood.
I have no idea DiCaprio used Meeker As his character in that movie. I watched it and missed that completely.
No disrespect intended to DiCaprio, but it's simply a basic fact that he (as both actor and grown male) couldn't touch Meeker (actor and very much a man) with 100,000 ten-foot poles. Credit for DiCaprio's rear-view-mirror glance goes to Tarantino, whose lifetime love of movies puts Meeker among his all-time favorite actors. (Whereas, unfortunately, most Hollywood actors aren't the brightest bulbs in any room. They don't know sh*t about film history, nor about true actor-artists versus popular movie hacks.) Ralph Meeker, though, was peerless. Was in a league all his own, both on and beyond the screen. A phenomenally gifted but criminally undervalued artist, one vastly superior to the interminable mediocrities of the Ho'wood machine - then and now.

First thank you for watching. This is a small clip from an Ed Sullivan show. I found the film on a garage floor in Sacramento a few years ago. I still own the film. I am currently trying to raise money for knew equipment that will be used to reprocess and improve this film as well as so many others that can be found here on my channel. Have a very nice weekend.

I have read that Princess Grace had a terrible time learning French in Monaco because it was not American High School french.
She never learned French in high school. She was learning it for the first time when she went to Monaco. The French they speak in Monaco has some differences from the French spoken in France.
