I'm going to say the buster side bet is a bad bet. I think both side bets are bad. He was not busting and hitting almost every card he needed, but I personally would not play those side bets.
Side bets are an awful bet. I just play them for entertainment, if I was playing seriously and trying to make money I would not be playing on a 6 to 5 table. But the let me film so I play for content here.
