First time turned on too big, I haven't done any background research but Steve Marriott would have been pleased. What a great tune, 30 days in the hole, 30 days in the hole...wahoo!
Lead vocalist and guitarist are very good, but the original vocal performance by Steve Marriott of Humble Pie is still untouchable. Also, the lead guitar sound by Clem Clempson of Humble Pie is still unmatched.
That would be the late, much lamented, Pat Torpey. I saw these guys just a few days before he left us, and he was very much part of the on-stage band. Fantastic gig; best way to remember him.
Billy Sheehan was a local God here in Buffalo. We followed Talas all over and kept waiting for them to make it big. They never did but I was glad to see Sheehan get the limelight
The great Humble Pie anthem. Great tune best live vid I could find. Vocals better than the original. Hot guitarist stepped on by the singer. Bass buried somewhere.
There's a newer live video out by Steve Marriott et al. than was available when I first was looking for the song live 2 years ago. It's much better. It's a classic anthem and the original studio cut started it all. I just dig the songs live. Shows how good the band is.
When i watch them play, especially Billy , the bass becomes like an extension of him. i'm sure someone like Babe Ruth looked that way with a baseball bat, or Wayne Gretzky with a hockey stick.

Love a group of artist that actually respects and has the class to do a great classic like this shows respect RIP Steve Marriott 🎸🎶🤘
This tune kicks ass
Check out the actual Steve Marriott Live or Studio version- 30 days in the hole, I'm thinking you already have?
@@denverdanoreno oh I have and it's a rocker.
What a gorgeous little Honey he is! And talented too!!❤!
❤❤❤❤❤❤!!! Did I mention that I LOVE this?!?
Never listened to this version before but but being a big Humble Pie fan I love it.

The Warfield in SF. I was there and it rocked. Live in Phoenix now but those were some magical times for the 10 years I lived there.
I was there with you brother. It was magical times back then. It was a really fun night! I still have my ticket stub.
Tuve la suerte de verlos varias veces en los 90s.
Qué grandes!
...ver a Pat Torpey en plena forma, que lastima que nos dejase tan pronto.
these guys are great.

R.I.P Mr.Big Drummer

Oh god I didn't even know this was he in an accident?
@@Hayley.a No, he'd had Parkinson's Disease for years, and eventually it took him from us.
@@nickmcp7191 thanks for the reply, I now know what happened
The drummer is the one that carried this song, I thought at least.
Still my favourite album great song great concert. All roads lead me back to Mr.Big
Gilbert and Sheehan.. Don't get better, no matter who you put up.
Eric sounded awesome back in the day!
He's kind of turned into the aftermath of all the child actors. Still got a shadow of his youthful good looks, but is about 85% twisted bitter gremlin
@@T--xk3hf So bummed that you say that. He’s a very talented guy and his acoustic music is a tough sell to rock clubs.
make your mama proud! I love my mama ... 😂😂😂😂 I love him ❤❤❤

I'd say Billy has made it big,. With a worldwide no 1 and the fact he is the best bass player ever, he has made it!
Ilike this song :)
ilove you eric !
Great Music! Classic.
Humble Pie
Addicted to that rush.🔜😎
Amazing ❤️
Excellent . . . Love it . Stay Frosty All
good cover of a classic humble pie song
Woo.

Better than the original? Nice try. Eric Martin is wonderful but he's no Steve Marriott.
Humble Pie did it first and did it best.

Next song shy boy
Heheh 😂❤️
Is it "urban poison" or "Durban poison"?
Sounds like Durban poison but it's actually Dirt and poison. The strain Durban poison wasn't around when HP originally wrote the song in 73'.
Paul Gilbert woof!
that is one Looooong fuckin' neck on the bass...
I CAME FROM GTA 6
This was good but they glitzed up too much. They didn't have the dirt that made this song work.
