- Live in San Francisco (1992) Detalhe - este show foi patrocinado pela Makita, uma marca de ferramentas elétricas, a combustão e a bateria (vide a música Daddy Brother Lover and a little Boy, que os músicos utilizam uma furadeira adaptada na hora do solo).
They came to Guam and played a rinky dink baseball field with less than 500 people in attendance and they still gave an amazing show, they played their hearts out.
Most of Guam didn't know who they were when they came, but when they left, love for them spread fast.
During the concert, Eric saw me singing along to this song and he sat at the edge of the stage and held the mic so that we could sing together. I sang from halfway thru to the end of the song w/ him. Still one of the best memories of my lifetime. I will always love this band and this song!
Wow, that's so awesome!
Still watching in 2023 and they sound amazing!! Miss you pat!
I was thinking about him at the exact moment I read your comment
@@rickericke8495 Very sad. I sat opposite him on their bus to the hotel as a starstruck fan here in the UK in 1991. I never forget his words " i'm just a regular guy "
Really so.
best song ever
most definitely!!!!!!!!
I’m not going to disagree! These guys are legendary.
I was at this show! :)
You lucky duck! I seen Eric this past August. He's so awesome. I would like to see all of them together though!
You old now
Jenni Chalmers absolutely jealous of you.
❤️
Wowww
RIP Pat. What a drummer, what a voice!!
YES! Pat Torpey RIP!
Great on Headbangers ball too that time
Pat was Superman. Really sweet guy too. RIP.
Actually get teared up watching and hearing him play and sing. Unreal. What a talent.
@@andrewkarp5067 He was, i met him when i was 17 in the UK after their show in 1991 i suffer with social anxiety but they allowed us on the bus back to the hotel bar....i sat opposite Pat on the bus and i still remember his words ' oh i am just a regular guy ' he was a lovely bloke. So sad he died way before his time....he looked and sounded great.
Effortlessly virtuoso playing, stunning 4 part harmonies, look great on stage and an absolutely classic, melodic FM rocker - why this bunch didnt become HUGE in their field i know not. Massively underrated.
Also late 80s when a lot of bands were coming out
Geoff Rees are we looking at the same crowd because that looks like a massive crowd. What are you expecting? Coldplay level fangirls/fanboys? They were successful enough and got everything they rightfully deserved
Two words
Kurt Cobain
@@John-nh5yr What about him?
Mr Big is big in Asian.. Japan especially. Here in Indonesia. They re big too.. Asian hears are better than westerners 😆😁 lol
I always liked these guys but it was not until now that I realized what great musicians these guys are..All three Singer Guitarist, Bass Drummer and singer/front man.. amazing sound from a 4 man band...and better than anything coming out today!
She just woke up, but she's still tired
Is that the telephone ringing?
The curtains can't hold back the light
That's reaching into her dreams
Down in her heart
If it had fingers, it'd be tearing it apart
You be lookin' groovy
In a sixties movie
Maybe tell the press you died
Little legend baby
Try your very best to hide
A green-tinted sixties mind
She keeps some memories locked away
But they are always escaping
neclgect won't make them fade away
They're reaching into her dreams
Down in her heart
Don't need fingers to be tearing it apart
Gotta face the day
There is no other way
To clear the fog inside your mind
Fill it up with dreams
But all that you can seem to find
A green-tinted sixties mind
Hangin' out with Janis
Movin' to Atlantis
Could've made it if you tried
What's the point of force
It's easy as a horse to ride
A green-tinted sixties mind
You be looking groovy
In a sixties movie
Maybe tell the press you died
Little legend baby
Try your very best to hide
A green-tinted sixties mind
-U can't hide-
I saw them twice in 1991-92 here in the U.K and i was amazed how good they were live. True quality musicians. I met Paul and Eric they were all really nice down to earth guys...
So lucky
I saw these during that era too in the UK. Honestly, they were one of the best "live" acts at the time. Brilliant musicians with a slick and effortless looking performance and quality backing vocals throughout. Top notch....
@@euiswindam4565 Eric bought me a drink , i have terrible social anxiety so wasn't able to say much apart from thank you, i was only 17 at the time. But back then there was no internet and living out in the country you were ' disconnected ' somewhat. I am guitarist too, so meeting these american rockstars was a huge thing to me...
Watch this video in 2019?👏👏👏
2020🇰🇷✌
2019 & 2020 & always ❤️
2020 We Still Alive!!!
2020!!
Yeeaaahhh 👏👏👏👏🙏
Eric Martin's awesome voice..
gotta be prime time of this band.... seriously a true picture of supergroup mastery
A live performance can't get better than this! Mr Big is pure emotion
No autotune. No frills. Just stellar musicianship.
I think about this time and Grunge has pushed out great rock bands like Mr. Big to the backdoor but they kept going and I love them for that.
Listening in May 2022. Great song from an insanely talented band
I would have loved to have seen Eric Martin work with Van Halen. That could have been awesome....
This song doesn’t get enough recognition for its greatness.
eric lee martin forver
Damn, that live version is tight! True musicians across-the-board!
my dear pat~ i hope you happy in heaven. i will loving you

If God ask me who u want to meet in this entire world? Then my answer will will be.. Eric Martin..I love u Eric...
Paolo Gilberto rules!!Who is Slash??
Jose Serrano Bayon The guitarist responsible for one of the most successful debut albums in the history of pop music
Slash sucks as compared to many other guitarrists from the same era: George Lynch, John Norum, Kee Marcello, Steve Vai, John Sykes, etc...Slash was not a bad guitarist but his look and the bombastic success of his band made many teenagers think he was the man. Wrong !!!!
& Paul can do d backing vocals. \m/
Paul+Billy virtuo combo. \m/ \m/
but slash is so diffrend guitarist than pg or steve vsi
Paul Gilbert was one of my heros growing up, and they do not make bands like this anyomore (where you actually have to sing and play) anymore.
LOVE that gnarly bass sound Billy has going.
My all time favorite band!!!!!!!!! 🤘
Jeanna Theis me too
Same here. Can’t believe these dudes weren’t bigger.
Happy for you. Mine too
rip pat!
The sound that these guys got from just a four man band is amazing !
That's they are called '90s supergroup. \m/
That's what happens when a band has virtuosos for members rather than sloppy rock stars. Clean and accurate sound
Sound so fucking clear..what a great band and production..
Green tinted 60s mind such a classic merging pop and hard rock together and Mr big off there chops and musical talents.
Im Feeling Groovy
: )
Y'all have no idea of the emotions these guys bring back to my heart 'n soul, seems so long ago, but only yesterday. I truly hope those of you reading this will pass this magic down to your offspring, this came from an era that produced some of the most amazing music of all humanity - these guys were the "dogs balls". Me, I'm still trying to learn Paul's awesome and emotionally lick that defined this song, and the soundtrack of the early '90s. I just wish I paid more attention before I had the five strokes that makes it impossible for me to play this amazing song, regardless of the fact I have a Jem and a VMNT sitting beside me. Don't be like me and put things in your life to later, grab EVERY opportunity you get in life ASAP - there is no prize for second place. Live long and be happy XXX 😉
Billy Shehann is the badest fuckin Bass Player to walk the face of this planet!!!!! He is the Eddie Van Halen of the bass Guitar!! That is the Gods Truth!!!!! My Favorite Mr Big Song.!!! Love this Song!!!!!!
今もいいけどやっぱこのとき最強にかっけー!!!
Fuck yeah!
MY FAVE BAND IN MY TEEN YRS. Until now.(2020)
I miss Hair METAL. \m/
Paul Gilbert looks like Chris DeGarmo (Queensryche)... I love your style!
One of most beautiful guitar riff i ever heard in lifeee. Crazy mr.big!
Best backing vocal I've ever come across
so good gives me the chills and goosebumps

I was there - upper seats - Warfield theater - I have the DVD too
Minha favorita de sempre desde 1992
caralho essa música é muito boa
great song! one of my fav MR BIG
My first husband bought this CD for this song back then lol cuz there was no way to get it online back in the early 90's😋. We were listening to "To Be With You" for prob a year b4 it became a hit song. Their songs always remind me of him💙. Unfortunately he passed away from cancer in Aug. 2017 at the age af 56💔. Him and I were still great friends even tho I remarried😁. R.I.P Neal💕.

I was at that show @ Warfield, SF.
I have loved him forever..
이 노래 완전좋아요 ♡♡♡
뭘 좀 아시네
Mr. Big...the legend.
Lagu Terbaik sepanjang masa. Yang selalu saya bawakan di ajang festival band dan selalu dapat vocalis terbaik dengan lagu ini
Mr.Big hebat
Four Hall of Fame caliber musicians.
No doubt. Don’t think what these guys did will ever be done again. Legendary!
Sound is so raw and powerful when you have a band with virtuoso members rather than sloppy amateurs
2021
One of the best
The only song that I have been playing for easily over 25 years. And despite the breaks on playing guitars, I have never forgotten how to play this song. To me it is like a nursery rhyme. You learn it once, you remember it all your life.
Saw them back at 1996 omg the best live band from usa
1:35 XD
is the best
best good
Such an amazing band instrumentally and vocally (one of the best bassists and guitar players of the era if not ever). So sad a ballad (which was great) overshadowed their abilities on mainstream radio airplay. RIP Pat
is there any application to VR for live concert...
고등학교때 밴드 첫 합주곡이였지.히리비리 보고있나.?
4-5 years too late, or they would of been huge. Shame
굳
The only Concert that can be sponsored by Makita :-P
This song does implicitly accept non-existence as a way to cope with the loss of the love your life. But "Is that the telephone ringing?"
