What a creative and interesting way to recreate the synth intro, and also doing the violin solo on the bass, tasty indeed, very enjoyable for a Who fan.
Really interesting take on the song and the way Paul Gilbert stays on time the whole song shows how good Paul Gilbert is at alternate picking. Its a very cool rendition of the somg
Just saw them in Denver. Saw them 3 times back in the early 90s .Greatest band nobody's heard of. See them why you can it's the Big Finish and after this tour it's over

Might you know what what was about?
I remember seeing Billy Sheehan ( bass player) in “ Talas” back in the mid 70’s. It was apparent , even then that he would go on to great fame and recognition. Go get em Billy! Love from Buffalo, NY.
Besides the insanely talented instrumentalists I just dig the voice of Eric Martin. I can’t even say why, but hearing just one tune of him makes me smile and being happy. I’m simply getting in a good mood.
Got to see these guys in a small club in Rochester, NY after they released their first album. It was quite a reality check for all the local musician friends of mine who were there too. Amazing band. 🤘🎸🎤🥁🔥
@@bobbydrex5268 I had friends who worked at the HOG, so I was able to bypass the line of people waiting to meet them and I got pictures & autographs from them. Even got to meet Eric after the show. Billy had a lot of people there so they didn’t leave right away. It was a great day. 🤘
Billy Sheehan and Paul Gilbert are incredible together much like Steve Vai and Billy were in DLR's band and Eric Martin sings in key so it's a whole different perspective.

I love that, with just guitar, bass and drums, they were able to cover all the parts in a song that originally had TONS of sequenced synth parts and an epic violin solo in addition to the traditional rock instruments... well done...
How could Billy Sheehan figure out John and whistles exact base tone, style, and licks? We fast forward 30 years later and Pino Palladino doesn’t hold a candle to what I am seeing and listening to right now. The who needs the pack it in. $300 a seat to see half of a band? Best cover of this song I've ever heard.
The WHO gave us a brilliant song but i prefer this cover as a guitar enthusiast😅
Guitar player here......as much as I click on Mr Big videos to see Paul, I am here just as much to hear Eric......and Billy.....and Pat
This band should have been sooo much bigger in the states, criminally underrated.
Because they have more talent in their little finger than 98% of the “bands” that are out now?
Came out too late. Had they been around in 85...HUGE
Yeah im really surprised I've never even heard of them. I spent the whole video wondering why lol
They are big in Japan...
Hey! To be with you was amazing!
Jesus, the amount of talent that’s in mr.big is insane. Like I wish I could do what any of them do.
Billy Sheehan an absolute monster on bass!
Listen to some of his old Talas stuff!
Do you want to treat? Listen to the new winery dogs stuff he’s like a bottle of red wine he keeps getting better with age!
One of the Top 5 Rock Bands of ALL time. Underrated by all means. Eric Martin could belt it like no one else. From staunch to suave.
When the Legends were play together....Made a creation be come a masterpiece.... They are Extraordinary...💯
Probably one of the best rock songs ever.
The Who made pure gold!
Billy Shehan is fantabulous!

This is by far the best cover of this song ever!!
