I wonder the kind of curriculum other African nations are using. Coz in Kenya, we study the political struggles of African countries and the economic activities etc..
Exactly. They hardly can tell even geographical location. Once given clue about an East African country, they’ll be mentioning North & South African countries. I remember we had to fill out blank country spaces in Geography. We also learned about Africa’s freedom fighters, independence and all of that. Am always shocked when they seem to know nothing.
The young people who said Ghana because it is more familiar actually gave old people answers. Young people are expected to be more adventurous and more eager to experience new places, people and things. Disappointed with young Africans who answered "I don't know anything about Kenya." They should learn about all of Africa so Africa can peacefully unite.

I've noticed a trend on all these country comparisons videos by Nigerian RUclipsrs, why are Nigerians not that well versed with African history, geography or current affairs? Are the subjects not taught there or is it just that the people do not bother to look at their continent out of choice? Before anyone comes for me on these comments, this is an actual genuine question and if you watch similar videos, you will find this to be a consistent thing. Someone enlighten me.
The older generation of Nigerians are well versed in African history, in fact, Nigeria contributed to the stability of some of these African Nations greatly. But it is sad that in this Gen Z age, most of these kids find it difficult to take note of anything that is not social media savvy. They have a shorter attention span and are only interested in trends. South Africa and Ghana are always trending for things like music, culture, food and all that, so they know more about these countries by watching content on social media even though most of them have never been to these countries. I think this cuts across all Nations if you ask me. Younger people these days are glued to their phones compared to the older generation who read and researched more.
@@ucheeke5110 Thank you for your response. I have indeed noticed this trend in most videos with young people across the continent. Even when asked what other African country they would like to live in besides their own, they mention Europe or north America, and if they know anything about any other country in Africa like you said, it's only in the entertainment sphere or trending topics on social media. Which complete culture shock we have cities more developed than kenya so which culture shock are u on about 😂😂😂😂😂even in terms of economy and development Nigeria is still by better than ghana
@@Robio_scorpio hehehe, Nigerians always flying off their handles. Some madd insecurities right there. Anyways, I was referring to the actual cultures, not the cities. West African culture is very different from East African culture so a Nigerian would feel more at home in Ghana. Kenya is one of the most developed countries in Africa, with learned and hospitable people. Learn to appreciate others if you want to be appreciated.
This explains why the Kenyan education system is up there. We learn about these countries in primary school and here come university students in Nija clueless about an African country. Shocked!!
Kenya. People and culture. Their economy and cool weather. Technology, infrastructure, cost of living, and the quintessential Africaness of the landscape. Africa is Kenya 🇰🇪
As a Kenyan who considers herself an adopted Nigerian 😁, there’s something that keeps bringing Nigerians and Kenyans together. Have you noticed the twitter wars? I’ve not seen twitter wars between Nigeria and Algeria for instance or Nigeria with Sudan, but check the two countries. Why? I feel they both connect at a certain level. There are so many Nigerians in Nairobi now that they have preferred living locations and we also have Naija night. I feel the fights are not due to enmity really, but more like sibling rivalry.😁
The question was; if you had a good job, where would you be comfortable settling (Ghana or Kenya). For those who don't know, Kenya is more developed and stable than Ghana economically. So the social services would be better. That said, all African countries are good and welcoming to foreigners.
That’s not true. Apart from the capital city Nairobi, Kenya is very underdeveloped. Ghana’s development cuts across the country. But there are underdeveloped areas in Ghana too.

Most African countries get visa on arrival in Kenya some visa free , Kenya has no problem at all in fact it advocates for African unity and integration more so on Pan Africanism
Don't really know much about Kenya but for Ghana, in aspects of hospitality, cultural and other factors we may be ahead but currently our economy is in shambles and I believe majority of the youth if given the opportunity to leave this country for greener pastures would gladly take it

Even when asked what other African country they would like to live in besides their own, they mention Europe or north America, and if they know anything about any other country in Africa like you said, it's only in the entertainment sphere or trending topics on social media. It's quite sad really.
@@missoguro1311 Thankfully it would get better. Social media has its perks too, more young Africans are showcasing hitherto unknown Real-time information about their countries on Apps like Tiktok, Something can happen in Kenya today and by tomorrow be discussed in entire Africa. It will get better.
Totally agree with you miss oguro the Kenyan education system is obviously working for us in this regard
Two days ago a watched a Nigerian female RUclipsr asking a school girl about Kenya. The kid said that history as a subject was pulled off their curriculum in Nigeria & so she knew nothing about Kenya.
*PROUD TO BE A KENYAN* 🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪
The lady that said none is a deep thinker😂😂😂Wow! I will still prefer Kenya tho
Nice selection… ☺️thank you for watching
No I don't think so.. she was actually trying to make both countries look like nothing..that's not a flex

I never been to any or thoese country's but I think Ghana ... cuz I heard the people there are very friendly and sweet
I wish I had a sweet African man that would love me they are all so sweet much love from this side 💋❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😘🙏
Ghana will be best for Nigerians. Their way of life is similar. Kenya would be a complete culture shock.
That's why it's called adventure. Why would you leave your country to explore similar things in another country.
If I was to leave my country I would go to a country completely different from mine so I have a story to tell.
So because it would be a complete culture shock Nigerians shouldn't go to Kenya? What a dumb assertion.
Better go to Kenya they’re far better than Ghana
Ghana 🇬🇭
Definately...kenya🇰🇪 the pride of africa.
Awesome selection 👍🏾 thank you for watching
I'm a Nigerian Kenya the gateway of Africa
This explains why the Kenyan education system is up there. We learn about these countries in primary school and here come university students in Nija clueless about an African country. Shocked!!
As a Kenyan 🇰🇪Kenya is the most beautiful place in Africa we have coastal region an home of wildlife 😋
There are many beautiful places in this large Africa. Can your coastline be compared to that of Somalia?
Kenya. People and culture. Their economy and cool weather. Technology, infrastructure, cost of living, and the quintessential Africaness of the landscape. Africa is Kenya 🇰🇪
Ghana all the way bro. I love their culture, social life, government and economy
I am a kenyan who likes to listen to country on class fm from monday to wednesday 10pm E.A.T, n sundays from 12pm with presenter Desmond Lamptey
I will choose Kenya...
Great selection thank you for watching
As a Kenyan who considers herself an adopted Nigerian 😁, there’s something that keeps bringing Nigerians and Kenyans together. Have you noticed the twitter wars? I’ve not seen twitter wars between Nigeria and Algeria for instance or Nigeria with Sudan, but check the two countries. Why? I feel they both connect at a certain level. There are so many Nigerians in Nairobi now that they have preferred living locations and we also have Naija night. I feel the fights are not due to enmity really, but more like sibling rivalry.😁
Kenya is lovely nation. Friendly people. security is also good with beautiful women.
The question was; if you had a good job, where would you be comfortable settling (Ghana or Kenya). For those who don't know, Kenya is more developed and stable than Ghana economically. So the social services would be better. That said, all African countries are good and welcoming to foreigners.
You've been to Ghana? Honestly. Have you?
Ghana is far more developed than kenya
That’s not true. Apart from the capital city Nairobi, Kenya is very underdeveloped. Ghana’s development cuts across the country. But there are underdeveloped areas in Ghana too.
As a Ghanaian I already love Kenyan. Would love to do business there
Ghana 🎉🎉🎉🎉

What makes you think that Kenya can give you work visa or business license easily? My advice is focus on living and working in your country and travel for leisure or for business.
Most African countries get visa on arrival in Kenya some visa free , Kenya has no problem at all in fact it advocates for African unity and integration more so on Pan Africanism
