Y'all is it just me, but ive watched the shay shay interview and i even listened to her rant about this party and yet, im still a little confused. What was Issa supposed to do? Why didnt Issa publicist let her in the party? Who told her not to let Amanda in? Im so confused because Amanda been talking about this party for a long time and im sure there were more afterwards. What and who was at this party??? Im curious now.
When you constantly are feeling unliked, it’s you. You da problem. You go on shows and IG lives and throw people under the bus and expect to be liked. Either make a change or stop crying about people not wanting you to be in the party.
When you constantly feel unlike by people it is not always you. Some people are demeaning, disrespectful individuals and it's nothing wrong with somebody talking about it.

@@shantajahjohnson7368 I agree with what you've said. What's more is Amanda is an articulate woman of color with a voice. She exudes confidence. Many people, including insecure women and cowardly males love to click up together against women like her.

Not sure about Azeaela but Amanda she doesn’t know how to Keep secrets and lie… I think people should see from what’s been going on in the last couple years that the people u love ( Bill Cosby, Lizzo, Sean Combs, etc) aren’t always who they present themselves to be and those unwilling to tell the lie are vilified… she tells her truth how is anyone evil for telling their truth of what they experienced?

The way the Issa situation was explain I definitely believe her, Issa should have stepped it cause at the end both are your employees! But I’m sure she’s more friendly with the publicist, that’s why she did nothing & stayed neutral. This is why I’m not friends with my coworkers

Amanda is a narcissist and on Shay show she brought up that she was lightskin several times and kept calling people the N word over and over she need to get help
U obviously didn’t watch the interview in its entirety…and/or failed to comprehend it beyond what was stated. She clearly said she was “lightskin” bc her great great great grandmother was raped by her WHITE boss when she was a maid. Her complexion was mentioned bc her “blackness” has been questioned, and she merely expounded on it.

@@jndixson My first time really paying any attention to her was on Shay Shay if you saw the interview she couldn't get alone with others blaming others for her wrong doing someone forgives her she would keep explaining and start crying it's always me me me and never her fault and thinks people are out to get her when she's out to get other people I can go on and on she's not Autistic she's a narcissist let me throw this in here she's also a racist she don't like blacks and when she say the N word she put her whole body and soul into it at first I was liking her until I realize she not what she claiming to be further in the interview

No, it wasn't Issa's event. It was the Black Emmy's party. I believe Amanda was working on Insecure at the time and the other cast members where invited and on the list. She was invited to the party but wasn't on the list to get in.
@jmward01 No. It was the publicists event. Not Issa’s. Issa has zero control over the publicist. I’m not sure why ppl think Issa in Hollywood just telling everyone what to do lol. It really don’t work like that.
They both worked for Issa so Amanda thinks Issa knew that she was banned from that party and decided not to say anything. She kept saying I’m not in it until the story of Amanda being thrown out went viral.
@@sabrenacarter9917 The publicist CREATED the Black emmy party. i don't see how issa rae had power over her publicist to tell her who could or could not come to the publicists party that she created. Issa may not have even been aware of what was happening since AS doesn't say she even saw Issa there. And just like the year before AS wasn't invited. She knew she wasn't welcome but showed up as someone's +1 anyway. I mean it is what it is. Issa getting involved later was an attempt that she knew would most likely not work. And she was right.
@@marie-francoiset9402 FYI AS was invited to the party the year prior to this incident. If Issa truly knew that the publicist didn’t want Amanda there then she’s wrong for being silent and only stepping in when things got violent.
