How is this real? She pretty much stood there saying some very racist, insensitive, and founded things. However she forgot to add the humor those things unless she expected people to laugh because they were racist, insensitive, or ignorant people themselves. Why do we continue to like people like her who blatantly display views and ideas so ridiculously harmful?

yes try coming out here to Dallas Texas to do stand-up it's like walking through a graveyard full of dead people but all of them still act Dead from the head on down when you tell your jokes to a crowd like that
and they take everything serious here in Dallas so you have to be really clear for what you say as far as joking with them

Usually any comedian that tries to incorporate these kind of issues into their routine kind of sucks but Amanda pulled it off quite well.
Agreed - she gets the point across without cursing or anger like some comedians do; I like various styles & this style of stating things like they should be obvious.

Kudos to Amanda for the bravery of what it takes to even do this.
She just didn't suss out her audience well enough. So much of what she talked about, and how she talked about it, basically has culturally infused undertones that often do not go over well w/ White audiences or they just literally don't get it yet.
This bit could've worked better w/ a totally diff audience and atmosphere. But again, I love that she even did it! I can only imagine that this is naturally nerve-wracking. Kudos to her.

Meena Beena Shes Grenadian. So just used that as her go to Caribbean accent, I guess. Grenadians sound similar to Trinis but not quite the same.
