  • IMPORTANT: There are two mistakes in this video.
    1) At 05:36 The graph has a mistake, the third degree of the scale is played as a 'MINOR' not a Major. What a say verbally is correct, but it was an editing error on my end, this mistake has been amended in the tab pdf. I'm really sorry for that.
    2) at 08:18 I call the ' I call the 7th triad a 'Half Diminished Triad' this is not correct, it is infact a 'Diminished Triad'
This is by far longest the longest video i've ever posted, but I think it's also one of the most helpful concepts i've spoken about. Important Note!! At 08:18 I call the 7th triad a 'Half Diminished Triad' this is not correct, it is infact a 'Diminished Triad' ❣.

Neatly explained, thanks! Everyone interested in music should know this. Especially helpful aswell for starting out in songwriting! Quick question at 5:36 It's, as you say, 1major, 2minor, 3minor, not as the chart says major, minor, major, right?

Oh man! Well spotted 😂 can’t believe I missed that in the editing process- you are right, the correct order is:
Major, Minor Minor, Major, dominant, Minor, half diminished, Major.
Sorry for the mistake ! 😅
