You have been reminding me of 7th grade. Raised in the USA all my life, this means that English is my first language, but I was assigned to an all Spanish student , these were students that recently came in from Puerto Rico. I ask the room teacher why was I assigned to that class and was told by him that my Spanish last name was used to place me in that class. He noted that I had excellent control of the English language, and what he did was to have me teach the students who were having difficulties. I note that the the material used to help these students were the same as I had when in elementary school. So complains about it and later on were transferred to a more diverce class.
Hello Wes! 1) In Spanish we say "The grass is always greener on the neighbour's side" 2) In Spanish we say "Four eyes look better than two", especially when we are looking for something lost 3) In the A ha song "Take on me" it says" "It is not better to be safe than sorry"? Romantic strategy! 4) "Red in the night sailors delight. Red in the morning sailors take warning". (Saying that I learned in a Physics textbook)
