Me too remove the 7th slot in the 2nd row is the best, and my least favorite suggestion is the cancel 1.17 because it is mean to bedrock players.

Instead of "rip out your eyes" we could use an eye if ender to make a spy glass to find the end portal or a new mob

better idea, ender shades: they're glasses. but with eye of enders for the lens. head slot, no armor same durability as iron helmet,(crafted with iron for frames) acts as a treasure xray. shows buried treasure, geode pockets, strongholds, chests in nether fortress, chests and gold in bastion gold in ocean monuments, and emeralds. no diamonds cuz too op, and since its the eye of ender, only the stonghold itself will be outlined, so you still have to explore it to find the portal. and say, in the nether you see the gold(blocks) and chests but not the whole structure.
tell me what you think and mabye add suggestions for polishing. (its goal is to be stronghold and 'treasure' xray)

@@codymarshall587 how so? adds some treasure hunting. didnt hear any suggestions to make it balanced. besides it may be op only to the really dedicated players, who already, are good at finding stuff themselfs, but its just a niche item that makes it a bit easier.

You should be able to fill a cauldron with a bucket of axolotl and then use that to fill a glass bottle. This can then be used to moderate the speed of minecarts. It's an axolotl bottle throttle.

-gives regeneration 2 when drank, but should be used swiftly, as the lack of air in thr bottle makes it go bad quite quickly

I actually also like the idea of a Disc renamed Dinnerbone playing backwards, and I'm loving the idea of the Sad Nether. Eggs should stack to 18 though...
I actually like the idea of an Eye of Ender Helmet (maybe just call it an Ender Helmet) that you can craft with an Eye of Ender and maybe some Copper ingots (give Copper something else to be craftable). It could be an armor piece that offers minimal protection and will lose durability fairly quickly as you walk around, but it will have the effect that your field of vision will go dark if you are facing the wrong direction to get to the nearest Stronghold and will get lighter and lighter until you face the correct direction. It will also change your vision to that of an Enderman as another balancing drawback. I think that this could be the start of other "Copper Armor" pieces that require other items to have unique abilities but are otherwise disposable to temporary effects.
First of all eggs should randomly choose to stack to twelve or eighteen or at a lower rate six. along with that milk in a bucket should fill to a pint, quart, half gallon, and gallon (metric coversions would work as well). The ender helmet is a good idea though. also having some gold level durability armor and tools that have special uses based on crafting recipes such as the ender helmet. A chestplate that deals all damage back using cactus, leggings that allow you to swim faster using nautilus shells, boots that allow you to have fly mode in survival using phantom membrane, sword that does extra damage to mobs based on what mob skull you use, a pickaxe that will mine only certain blocks that you add to the recipe (including bedrock), shovels that allow you to get placeable farmland, axes that can turn wood blocks into planks, and finally a hoe that won't allow you to sleep unless you hold it and wear out each time are all great options for special tools.
That's not a drawback, really.

A good way to balance it: when you equip a eye of ender, you can see nothing but the end portal for 3 seconds if it is in loaded chunks. Then the eye breaks
#47 - Make it so it's an item crafted from netherite and eyes of ender to make it so you can see a path to the stronghold.
#43 - Have a type of bed crafted from hay bales instead of wool, since it's sometimes near impossible to find sheep. The bed would look way different obvs and have straw sticking out from the edges.
#32 - Maybe just have it so dogs can dig holes when there's treasure buried nearby? Or maybe just randomly dig holes and bones, sticks and compasses etc are found.
#8 - This reminds me of how Comms work in Barotrauma. If you're out of range or if your battery is dying messages are messed up.
Eg. "I-- b- --ke th-s so y-- ---ldn-- t--l -h--t --ey -aid." (It'd be like this so you couldn't tell what they said.)
#47: Speyeglass.
#32: Could be done with an unobtainable container to hold the items until a player activates it to get the preserved drops. The container would work like silverfish eggs, but look like dirt with hints of bones/sticks in the texture.

Logged into Minecraft and played 1.18 with a dynamic lighting mod that works client side and that anyone can get easily. Loved my glowing squids just cope harder.
Technically, it won legit, nobody hacked the polls, all those votes the glowsquid had where people who went and clicked the option, honestly the glow squid was the most atmospheric and better looking of the options, it shouldn’t be surprising that a bunch of people would rather choose the cool looking mob over the one that looks like another illager (which aren’t the prettiest mobs lol)

Yes! One of my favorite series! Edit- quick note on #25 - I always thought the "phantoms" for not sleeping kinda resembled the IRL "shadow people" you get sometimes when you haven't slept. You see them in your peripheral vision after going so long without sleep, like during a multi day gaming binge, coding/hacking session or meth binge.
#3 should be #1 - basically mocking every single complainer on all aspects of the update. Really sounds like quite a few RUclipsrs tbh ( not toycat of course)
Then make it so that shadow people cannot attack players whose minecraft skin is completely black (like me)

An actual good suggestion I have:
They should have a bat swarm event. When entering a dark cave, you could have the chance to find 10-15 bats or so on the ceiling. If you're too loud they'll all wake up and start flying around. They wouldn't be hostile but it would just be a cool event that could occur while exploring. I think this would be much more interesting than just occasionally finding a singlular bat in darker caves.

@@aendra6495 not exactly under the rug, more like in the general direction of the rug with half of it on top of the rug, as many people, while not directly harassing him, use him as a literal physical manifestation of cheating, as if that's all he does. Yes he cheated, yes he abuses his popularity and yes that's incredibly unfair to other people, but that doesn't call for that kind of treatment, it's just spreading hate that doesn't need to be spread when such energy could better be used to actively support those modderators who are being harassed, quite under that previously mentioned rug. The world knows dream cheated, but just today, by your comment here, I learned the moderators are still being attacked.
You can still set your spawn point as the two hay bales(which resets if you destroy one or both of the hay bales) but when you sleep on two hay bales it should not actually skip the night and you just idle there as if you where playing in multiplayer even when you are playing in single player, implying that the bed is uncomfortable and you can't sleep.
