- Diana Taurasi, the now mother of two, credits motherhood for making her better at basketball. An interesting insight from the 40-year-old vet, proving that she is just as committed as ever to finding ways to improve her game. With 18 WNBA seasons under her belt, the motivation and desire to be better has not changed. “It’s an internal fire, I know that when I don’t have it, I’m done.” This "fire" has led to Taurasi becoming the all-time leading scorer and threes made. The league voted Taurasi the "WNBA Goat," to commemorate the leagues 25th season and recognize her unparalleled career. Diana Taurasi has been fundamental to the growth and success of women's basketball and her friend, Sue Bird, has been with her every step of the way.
In this final episode, Taurasi sits down and reflects on her friendship with Bird and how the game will change as #TheGreatestDuo comes to an end. In this 8-episode series presented by Nike and TOGETHXR, we highlight four pivotal years in the greatest duo’s journey: 1996, 2000, 2016 and 2020, through the lens of Sue and Dee.

This highlight of two individual women that happen to be best friends in life together is just wonderful.
LOVE this, love them. Simply beautiful, keeps me wanting more
I am not ready for the WNBA w/o Sue, or tennis w/o Serena. I'm glad that, at least right now, Taurasi is still playing.. I hate getting to the point in my life where all the greats are retiring... Taurasi is right, there is not another pg in the league right now who sees the game the way Sue does.
🏀 Diana!!! What a fantastic journey. Your hard work payed off 💪 Your a great Mom too, congratulations 🎊 👏 Keep balling, #BeTrue #StayTrue

Please don’t retire yet. I live in Montana and I have to come and see you play!!!! I like how you play but I love how much you adore your family. I told my husband that I won’t be happy until 1) I see you play and 2) I get another golden retriever. HA!

Hi! How are you?
Tomorrow is already the weekend this week. But I'm worried that the typhoon is coming up.
I hope there is no damage.

That’s exactly right. Children right now are the second most vulnerable vitamins right now with all going on. No matter single or married it’s worth it. ☝️. #freebritneygriner 😡 🤲 ⛽️😥🤲💘
